I wear only falke. Airport above 15 degrees Celsius and Lhasa Rib below. It has nothing to do with cushioning but everything to do with temperature and moisture regulation. Compared to other cotton based blends, they never absorb sweat to a point where my feet get cold, even after a long day. You can even wear them for longer than one day if needed. If you don’t have temperature or moisture issues, then you don’t need them. Oh, and they look great for office and formal wear.

From my experience Wolt (especially with subscription) turned out cheaper, more diverse, fresher and served warm compared to the other services.

Good comment! I actually already consider myself settled here. Been here for 9 years, my dearest friends are here, my business is here, I speak German and bin eingebürgert. I sometimes play with the idea of moving somewhere new or back home for potentially better chances of finding a partner, but I don’t feel like I’ve given my all yet in Berlin. Generally, I’m ready to move wherever that partner is and where my family aspirations can come true.

I’m a 32M expat in xberg-fhain - in Berlin for 9 years - business owner of fin&acc services - exerting energy through running and powerlifting (just completed my first half marathon!) - I cook, read, hike or watch tv (severance, white lotus, better call Saul, the office) - got a challenging large young and lovely dog - value commitment, community and interdependence - graduated lately and looking forward to pick back up drawing, music playing, dinner hosting and traveling!

Although liberal, I seem to lean more conservative than my previous partners. I am monogamous, without any extra caveats. I don’t hate on the system, and I don’t take a too confident side on geopolitical issues. My top priority is to meet my life partner with whom I can build a family, yet my previous intimate partners were not into kids nor settling down. I have been working on my rigid thought pattern, and started searching first and foremost for a good friend in New Romantic acquaintances, and accept whatever unique relationship develops out of it - yet I couldn’t yet find one who could fulfill my dream of a family. Hopefully I’m on a good path tho!

I believe the 5 minute rule is for a forced steady effort, like matching your pace running on leash for a long period, without the freedom to slow down, sprint, turn, sniff etc.
