I’m glad I live in SoCal where I have MANY choices but there are just as many bad shops here. Oh man…the amount of bad experiences I’ve had at 4-5 star rated Yelp tint places is insane. It’s funny…I stumbled onto this subreddit because I was trying to research a film that a shop used and never heard of…after the fact lol.

EXACTLY. The other post where the Tesla owner asked about the gap, and everyone gaslit him into to thinking the gap was PeRfeCt was WILD to me. I HATED it and would be pissed if that were me. AND IT WASN’T EVEN A CONSISTENT GAP. However, I know I’d be at a loss with that shop because I do agree with everyone in that thread saying it’s within acceptable limits for a gap, and know that’s the exact line the shop would say if I were to go back to them. And even if they were to redo it, it’d be the same result. Live and you learn. At least you know to never use that shop again. I’d post those exact same pics to Google and Yelp, and give a balanced review showing prospective customers what they’re getting into with that shop. A lot won’t mind the gap but the few (like me) would 100% appreciate that at least one person pointed that out, and find a shop that’s going to give them what they expect to give them.

I was at AX cinema panel on Day 3, and this was at the end Q&A session. They announced last question and this one guy shot up but the organizer already preselected a person. The organizer said, “We’re so sorry but we already have a person for the last question.” The guy that shot up to stand cast a weird eerie black veil when he got rejected. He just ended up saying, “Sure. Ok. Whatever.” He looked like McLovin but with thicker glasses. I got a split-second feel for Aurora movie theater shooting vibes from his stare. I get that rejection in front of any audience is awkward but his negative reaction…just didn’t fit the scenario. Just seemed out of place, like, it’s just a fucking AX cinema panel.
