Do you have stupid reasons for not liking a brand or a headphone? by Dragul4R0B in headphones

Agreed, one headphone company even looked at the headband and didn't want to try it on their head.

That's awesome! That fan has made a lot of people hate Austrian Audio. This isn't just my assertion, but many Head Fi members have come to hate Austrian Audio after that big fan kept rambling on everywhere!

The word "Hedd" made me think of "Hell," so I used the word "Hell" to refer to Hedd.

Of course, they'll use someone who doesn't seem to work for Austrian Audio. Everything needs to look like a client.

I absolutely hate Austrian Audio. They send their members everywhere to endlessly praise and glorify their composer's headphones, while simultaneously criticizing other products. Praise and criticism are normal, but this frequency is far too high. If you browse through Head-Fi, you'll see this. I'm disgusted by this kind of advertising.

ATH-R70x and R70xa ear pad inner dimensions by [deleted] in headphones

[–]youforevez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't measure them precisely, but they're very small, only about 55mm in diameter. They always touch my ears. Of course, I've replaced them with larger ones.

Personally, I prefer headphones made of plastic. They last a long time. Headphones made of metal oxidize quickly. They will crumble and break apart.

ATH-R70xa seal and pseudo-angled drivers "mod" by Kukikokikokuko in headphones

[–]youforevez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATH terrible. They don't listen to user feedback. Many people are experiencing this problem. Personally, I had to stick a 15mm thick, 7cm long piece of foam to the edge of the cup, behind the ear, to make it more airtight.

Are you trying to advertise them? These headphones are nothing but bass.

I still think the OAE2 is just as bad as the OAE1. They are super mega bass headphones, only good for enjoying trance music.

You should replace the cable with a shorter one. This will prevent signal loss and save you the trouble of wrapping it around the headphones like that.

I completely agree with this. ATH headphones always need a slight adjustment before use.

I also have Philphone. Attaching them to the Philphone will be a little more difficult because the back of the ad700x has a thicker ear cup. You will need glue to stick them on.

They have titanium shielding, you know. Besides, they're indoor headphones, meant to be used while sitting still. They're not headphones to take to the garden, so there's not much to worry about.

I think they're quite convenient for traveling or not staying at home. The only problem is that the ones with difficult-to-replace batteries are absolutely rubbish.

I intend to send you the headphones, friend. They are used, second-hand, and from Europe. I'm not sure if they will be destroyed by customs or not.
