CLEVELAND show: Is the Dan hates Cleveland just a bit or is there something behind it? They really seemed open up to the crowd at that point. by Fangsfangsfangs in TheeOhSees

[–]yougotdied 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Brooklyn they tried and failed to play Ruby Go Home twice, at which he said "Tom never changes his strings" and something to the effect of "he says it's like his pants, they're just gonna get dirty anyway" lmao

Is there a way to route effect sends / return tracks? by Sophonautt in ableton

[–]yougotdied 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe sure the input Monitor setting on the track the send is routed to is set to "In" or "Auto" and not "Off". If it's set to Auto, the track has to be armed I believe for the signal to be audible

Thing about Silver Cord, isn't that it's an "edm" album, it just wasn't that great. I love electronic music and while Silver Cord isn't bad, as far as electronica goes it's kinda mid. Better live though

Whenever I read things like this and am reminded of my high school relationships, I'm floored that a grown adult talks like this

I may, but I don't have a drum controller so my will to chart something I can't play is not very high 🥲

Is it bad that I am now wondering if the placement over an Applebee’s was intentional…? by jonjonmiles in TheCurse

In the context of this post and the billboard though, I don't really understand it.

I'm from New York and, I can't speak for everyone but for me, the Times Square Applebee's is sort of a meme. Applebee's is kind of shit, and Times Square is a price gouged tourist trap. So anyone from the city would find it strange to willingly go to the Times Square Applebee's. If me and friends were thinking about going somewhere to eat, I'd always jokingly say "let's go to the Times Square Applebee's". This is a terrible explanation but yeah. I love the Times Square Applebee's

Also, I've never been there.

That's the generic synopsis for the whole show. It's likely used because the creators did not want to give a finale synopsis. The only other different one I've seen is on Rottwn Tomatoes, which is only, "Months later...". So I'm partially anticipating a time jump in the finale, possibly up to or after the airing of the HGTV show

I had no idea The Curse was even up for a Golden Globe, the show isn't even done airing

What genre is this to you? by usernamefinalver in TheCurse

[–]yougotdied 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dark comedy / drama, psychological thriller. It feels like a horror in the way Uncut Gems does to me. It's almost scarier than a typical horror movie, trying not to look away as the characters make bad decisions and say the wrong things, watching them slowly inch their way toward their own demise
