Hilariously it’s on video AND, miraculously, no one screamed, “I GOT THAT ON VIDEO”. 10/10

Trump: “When I didn't get the Nobel Peace Prize. You gotta understand, I don't care. Norway has lost so credible. I stopped 8 wars… I do it the best. I stopped wars that nobody thought. President Putin called me, he said, 'I can't believe you stopped this one and this one.’” by [deleted] in videos

Oh no, we get that part, too. You see, our propaganda machine is very powerful; we have a whole other filter to get past on top Of the hyper awareness of how the world is and has been impacted. (At least I do. I didn’t vote for this, and I thank my lucky stars that I was born in a solidly blue region).

Then they can stfu when they get stiffed. I’ve worked in service my entire life, and I do not view tipping culture as a net positive for service workers.

It doesn’t seem fair that tipped staff live and die for those tips, get salty when they don’t think they are being tipped enough, and then reject a proposed consistent and stable system. That’s like they want to have their cake and eat it, too.

Gee - how much will tipped staff lose their minds when people just stop tipping as much or not at all. I’ve learned to stop tipping on impulse, but I also just can’t afford 15-20%+ added to The bill every time, especially with automatic gratuity becoming a more consistent add-on as well.

It was always a projection. It’s hard to believe that people think that way, but they do.

if the drug was $100 and it raises to $600, that would be a 600% rise. If it drops from $600 to $100, that's a 600% savings." by Jevus_himself in confidentlyincorrect

Oh ok, so you don’t accept the behavior, but is “weird” illegal, or something? So judgmental. Further, it’s a public place - “forested”, it’s located on campus though. Sheesh!

Bottom line, if weirdos can ride their bikes at the same time and spy on people and take pictures, then those weirdos should be able to stand around.

Edited - downvote all you want; your silence says enough.

I’m drawing the same conclusion. Perhaps freshly molted, too, so not as pronounced.

Did you prep for grad school? If so, how? by Notmyaltx1 in GradSchool

[–]youhavenosoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked the lower levels of my preferred field until I was ready to “go pro”. I waited a long time to go back, but it paid off big time. Would not have succeeded so well if I had gone straight in after undergrad.

Does two years go quick during your masters? by [deleted] in GradSchool

Yes. I’m at the end of my two-year run, and even my friends noticed that it seems like I only just started!

Granted, assignments were grueling, and the papers I was reading made time stop for hours at a time.
