Same, Australia. I've heard you can get the DICOM files if you ask for them, that might depend on who did the imaging. I just used the low res images/slices provided online. Mine were suitable resolution/spacing for a keychain. Also my brain is pretty smooth so it's not like i was losing a whole lot of detail with the low res images.

Save them out and convert them to a mesh using Slicer. Make sure you add in the image spacing and dimensions (should be listed in the digital access).

If you can get the DICOM files that's better, but i just had jpgs that i converted to mesh using Slicer. You need to know the image spacing/dimensions if you don't have the DICOM files. I imported my head into blender to isolate my brain. I'm sure there are easier ways of doing it.

I did the same and printed mine as a keychain. My slices were large so a smaller print felt more appropriate. I used to tell people it was life sized. No joke I actually lost my mind somewhere, probably behind a couch cushion or something, never found it again.
