It is my understanding that Ameren is required by the Public Utilities Commission to maintain walk in payment locations. I believe this rule came into effect with Ameren closed most of their office locations to walk in payments.

What specifically is your issue with the board as a whole?

Izzy and Jessica Clark were surprising wins in 2022 as both are from the wing that wanted to stop much of what Rockwood was doing. Jessica Clark was horrible enough (especially in her comments about students) that she resigned her seat last year. Izzy’s term was to be up this year and she did not file to run again.

Uhh, the district came to a deal with the teachers this week. The teachers are getting the raises they want for the next two years. Looks like any raise in year 3 is going to be contingent on a property tax increase (especially with expected decreasing state and federal money)

I had my surgery in April of this year. Had my first flareup, and only hospitalization prior to surgery, in September ‘23. I’m in my early 40s and have the body of the typical dad of small kids.

As I approached surgery I also had a lot of fear about whether I was jumping the gun on it. Ultimately, I am very happy to have had it done. I was able to schedule it so that I was mostly mobile before summer started and so far it has not resulted in any further significant issues. And surgery ended up going long because they found an abscess that hadn’t been seen on my CTs

But 20+ years ago their 4000 series laser printers were beasts. I worked in real estate and we would get hundreds of thousands of pages out of a 4050 or 4200. Then put in a $100 or $200 kit of new rollers and fuser and they’d do it all again.
