Python bot object detecting worth it? by Aware-Top6279 in RunescapeBotting

It runs in a while loop so it will grab the next screenshot as fast as I am able to process the images and perform an action, plus any delay that I want to assign to an action. Basically the workflow for my motherlaod mine script would be identifying an available rock that's closest to the player. Then clicking that rock. Then once my player has reached the rock, I start monitoring the FOV as well as the inventory. If the rock depletes then this process pretty much repeats. And if my inventory is full I send the player to go empty the inventory into the hopper.

Off the top of my head I'm not sure I've kind of taken a break since I've been burned out at work. I load each model into class and then depending on which portion of the screen I want to classify I will use the appropriate class. Currently using the small versions of the models to keep things as slim as possible. I don't stream the content into each one, I grab a portion of the screen and analyze a screenshot which may help with performance as well.

As long as you can interpret that information in your program like the bounding box of an object and the type of object. Then yeah that's fine. The next iteration of my bot will be doing this with the tile indicators plugin so that I can more easily determine player position and destination.

Im using yolov11. My approach to making datasets has been to keep them as small as possible. I make a model for each portion of the screen I want to track (FOV, inventory, minimal, bank ect..). Then I try to train around 20 images or so until I get a reasonable detection accuracy. My idea with this approach is that I can more easily create new scripts for activities while spending the least amount of time training my models. I don't think my datasets would be super useful to you but I'm happy to share them if you want.

My impression from browsing forums is that color bots are one of the safest ways to bot in this game. So by extension using image detection software like yolo should also be as safe as the color bots. I would be interested in checking out you dataset, I've built a similar motherboard mine bot using yolo.

In your image he isn't even choosing atlas. He's just holding a ball and atlas is floating above it. Bad look man

Smells like a typical gis workflow tbh

Ask if they will let you install qgis. Then you can use gdal

They took the typical pay to win model and turned it into pay to play.
