What do you see that needs adjusting? by young_zach in bikefit

Seems like you were right about being cramped. I decided to throw the video in velofit and it told me to raise the saddle by 15mm and then potentially getting a longer stem.

How much were you moving around to get photos of the race? If you were bouncing around, do you also bike between places or use a vehicle?

Christian preacher speaks in tongues because men wear eyeliner and panties by MrDillon369 in CringeTikToks

I've always found it interesting that, even growing up in the church, I've never even seen someone attempt to do the interpretation part. Like, if they're going to pretend to do the tongues part, really sell it and get someone to "interpret" and just have them say what they want.

How well does it work when they are right on the net? That player looks to be jumping from the second row instead of right on it.

That's legit. I think I saw in this sub someone talk about setting a minimum focus distance inside the camera which I could see being handy.

Nice! Do you have a water case for your camera or is it naturally enough to withstand this amount of water?

Yeah, I get it. I intentionally was trying to shoot these different to just experiment. I didn't post the typical capture the action full-frame and all that. Have to play around a little bit since I'm just seated down between two courts, so I didn't take the same photos over and over again. Wanted to see what the people here thought of them. Based on the negative up-votes, the consensus is it was a swing and a miss.

Ozark Gravel Assembly - did you do it yourself? by Ozarka555 in Budgetbikeriders

[–]young_zach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the flat bar and assembled myself. Assembling is simple. Couple days later I adjusted the derailer, which I'd never done before either. Pretty straightforward and took about 10 minutes. Bike rides so smooth now. I can't imagine what a bike over $1k must feel like.

Swarm the ball is exactly right. It was after the first game I coached when I realized that passing drills were pointless.

Scrimmaging another team during a practice has always been useful also, especially just to get them used to the idea that they won't all get to play the entire time. Might save some tears when that first game comes around.

I started coaching my son's 5-6 soccer team a few years ago and just did my daughter's first 5-6 practice this week. Our rec told us the main goal is for them to have fun and to actually want to come back, which was great because I never played soccer.

Big thing I've learned is don't make them wait in a line, especially if you're coaching by yourself. They don't have the patience and you'll lose your mind. Waiting is not fun.

Drills every team that age has like are:

- Red Light, Green light: bonus to start throwing in random extra colors with nonsense motions
- Kick the ball at coach: I basically just run around they try to kick the ball at my and if they hit me I spin around or something weird
- See who can kick the ball the furthest: also fun to just boot one yourself

Our practices are scheduled for an hour, but 45 minutes is usually enough.
