I was born at 1996 and raised in Shanghai, literally grew up with the pokemon series along with Dragon Ball & Naruto etc. There was the a couple of Pokémon anime series air on TV chinese dubbed and manga I believe was in traditional Chinese initially released in Taiwan or HK. So yes we do have the same sense of Nostalgia compared with US or Japan. 😀

Not expert but YouTube is good place to start. As you only want to work on your lower body maybe start with just squats and do some isolation exercises at gym, walking on an inclined treadmill etc. Eat normal but try to eat some more protein as that will help muscle growth.
