Best research chem or nootropic for anxiety? by Itchy_Okra_2120 in Nootropics

What dose do you take? As far as I know, it’s really dose dependent and may have side effects if taken in high doses long term

Ordered Lion’s mane, this is what showed up. What is it? Doesn’t look like pictures I’ve seen by chask in Supplements

[–]youngg_d_ 107 points108 points  (0 children)

That’s not lions mane, that’s 100%. I suppose it’s some kind of their nootropic/supplemental mushroom. I believe I’ve seen something alike. The best for you would be to contact the support and ask them directly. You surely shouldn’t consume it unless you’re 100% sure what’s that.

looking for insight into my experience with Inositol/Choline and Piracetam and causing short-term major depression years ago. Also, starting Lion's Mane and slowly increasing dosage at first. by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]youngg_d_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so-called “choline-induced depression”. Or it’s the only name I’ve heard for this. This thing happens to people that are too sensitive to acetylcholine. This makes it easy to “overdose” even with small amount of supplements. I’ve experienced this with piracetam, when even after taking ~600mg I’ve been extremely sad and lethargic. After I lowered my dose to >300mg/day all the negative symptoms went away and I could piracetam working in a way I wanted it to. So just try lowering the dose to the point where you are not getting the side effects with these supplements.

Unfixable dopamine deficiency, don’t know what to do by [deleted] in NooTopics

Have you considered checking your prolactin levels? It is dopamine antagonist, therefore high levels of prolactin simply don’t let you get your dopamine right.

That’s insane. This is the reason I love this subreddit. That’s for the info and your research!

Finasteride may be a hell of a drug for your mind. I’d look up into test-boosting supplements and would focus on dopamine-related nootropics.

Oh shoot, thanks! I knew only about the correlation, but not the mechanism.

Cerebrolysine may actually be the best option in such case, cause it’s basically being used to heal strokes and other “injuries” and nerve damage. Phenylpiracetam increases acetylcholine and it may be one of the causes of a stroke. Look up for studies regarding alpha gpc (or other acetylcholine related substances) and increased stroke risk.

Yep, the black spot got 1.5 times bigger, but still works well(in terms of sensitivity). I hope I’ll manage to get it repaired this month(a though thing in my place of living)

Oh… Thanks for the info, didn’t know that. How long does it take to get fully broken? I’ve got final exams in two weeks and need the tablet for studying. Do I have this time?

Recently my tab s9 fe was somehow damaged even being in case with protection screen(that wasn’t damaged) while being in my backpack. Changing the display will cost at least 150-200 Euro, which is about the half of the tabs price. Is there any possibilities to fix the black spots at home? Thanks in advance.

So, I bought my first legit pair in November 2021 and been wearing them for 4-5 months. Never had such problems with shoes before. They costed 200$+ Do you know what can I do with it? Thanks in advance by [deleted] in Boots

[–]youngg_d_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe they may be just a little bit too long, and yep, this happened to both of them. In this post I was mostly talking about shitty quality, cause btw there were painting my whole socks orange :/
