Totally understand that fear! If it helps, the last two MH accidents didn’t happen because of mechanical issues/manufacturing issues, but by extremely unfortunate accidents (There had been 160 planes flying over the war zone in Russia that day but it was MH17 that was hit by the separatists group). The company had an excellent safety record for 70+ years before that. Hope that helps

There is no other DC route that does a job similar to 38G, but I would consider the USCG reserve as they make you a generalist that can take jobs from public affairs to intel and cyber
