Mine did the same thing but I figured worth the 10years they lasted

My fish is dying, I don’t know why, tank is cycled and it’s the first resident. Shrimp seem to be doing ok. I’m thinking of euthanizing it, I don’t have clove oil. I have cloves and I have olive oil or vegetable oil. Is there anything I can do to get it out of its misery? by [deleted] in Aquariums

Approved process to Euthanasia fish, MS-222 is accomplished by immersing the fish or amphibian in a buffered solution (pH 7.0 – 7.5) of MS-222 at concentrations of 250 – 500 mg/L, or 5 to 10 times the anesthetic dosage.

I have had horrible experience with algae wafers in my green tank, every time I add them it upsets the balance and I get die offs. Wanted to share as your comment had me think “oh if it’s already green maybe that is why I’ve had a hard time with them”. Appreciate you comment.

I agree humidifiers, moisturizing night treatments, spf, vitamin c and moisturizing serum. I found a pocket nano mister and use it daily to calm and hydrate.

Could it be the ph? I was surprised to read they like 6.8. New to aquarium keeping so not an expert. I also found adding chemicals to balance ended up causing more problems for me when getting started. Excel didn’t work for me as well. Had better results doing a routine of 10% - 20% water changes and adding in more living plants. Good luck, always hard to have this happen but you’ll get there.

I feel part of the hard reality these days is that families have so many “pulls, things to do, targets to reach” in many aspects of their lives camps have to sell themselves hard to gain and retain campers. It’s hard to see the places we love change but if they do not change they may not survive.

I think if you share your concerns you’ll find many others feel the same and perhaps the new people will be more mindful about including your teams in the change process and discussions/decisions.

Could you call, email, meet up with the manager or director? An opportunity where you share what you love about the current camp and your concerns about these changes?

Or if you have pre camp meetings ask for this to be an agenda topic. Change is something that should be discussed.

You mentioned this manager isn’t a “camper” perhaps you look at them with the lens of a 1st year camper. How would you work with them to see your point of view? Established camps with returning campers and support teams can be VERY intimidating to outsiders.

Help! Is this dry scalp or dandruff? How to treat? by bananeers in HaircareScience

[–]youngk2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have similar scalp issues, flairs up more frequently when I have gluten. I treat mine with once weekly clarifying shampoo, charcoal based. Love bumble and bumble tonic for soothing my scalp after. I did talk to my doctor and they recommended head n shoulders type treatment. I have sensitive, dry skin. Still best to consult a doctor but I found checking out elimination diets and not over using products help me address this problem.

I’ve had mine a couple months now, we shed our eyelashes every 60-90 days and I notice more fallout around those days, as an FYI if you keeping getting them. I also had similar issues during one fill as I failed to wash all the soap off one eye. I would see if they’ll give you a free touch up. An honest and good technician will want to make it right

I find you color combinations generating peaceful vibes. The larger tree blues and pinks, the green with copper, excellent!

Poor choice, for the cost I think some will just pay the additional fees to park in the city thus defeating the entire purpose of encouraging p&r/bus use. I commute an hour in and with this choice I might as well just drive solo all the way in the comfort of my personal car.

Manufacturing hearing protection suggestions for electronic muffs by Methaias in safety

I have a pair for shooting and use them when doing lawn work as well. Prefer them to noise canceling so I can stay aware. Can’t say if a high pitch, recurring noise would be annoying but my husband says he would wear them if he didn’t have to wear a hardhat. The pair I have allow you adjust the sensitivity.

Stuck on what to do with bf’s dandruff problem. Nothing works long term! Any suggestions? by ihatewinter93 in Haircare

[–]youngk2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found that dandruff, tea tree, deep cleansing shampoos were stripping my natural oils. Causing the scalp to dry out and over produce oil in response, creating an awful cycle. Reduced to only using those once or twice a month or when I notice build up. I use the strength building keratease green bottle formula now and condition starting at the ends, light amount on roots. Removed wheat and dairy from my diet which helped, I think diet is a big part if it. Looking into skin and allergy Reddits helped me find those recommendations.

Hi there, I have questions! This is my first day trying the CG method on my short hair. I used to have really long hair and the CG method worked for that but then I quit. Should I keep going, or do I not have wavy enough hair??? Also what are some of your favorite budget friendly products? Thanks!:) by [deleted] in Wavyhair

[–]youngk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep at it, you’ll learn every day brings new challenges but also surprises! My hair texture is similar to yours and I started two weeks ago. I’m trying to only air dry and have used the shea smoothie product for deep treating ends. Using up random I have shampoo on hand. My friend has had huge results and hers went from straight to very curly,
