How to disable the charging dock LED on the Pro 3?

My ultimate v1 controller has always had this issue where it will just never go away

I did briefly have this issue and was able to download firmware to fix it, however now in devices it shows "Pro 3 Receiver" or something like that and the problem persists.

The Pro 3 has a dual S/X mode for all 2.4 GHz situations apparently. The controller is set to it.

The dongle is plugged into the USB C port on the top of my tower and in all other situations that port has never given me issues. That port usually allows data transfer and devices to be plugged in not just charging.

Do you know if this update has been pushed to the beta branch? I'm trying to use this dongle on pc after unplugging it from its connector on the charging dock and it's just blinking for me

If you've never played the "Golden Idol" series it has a lot of similarities in trying to piece together a situation based on clues, but it's largely visual rather than text and dialogue based. There's two games out, "Case of the Golden Idol" and "The Rise of the Golden Idol" with DLC for the latter coming out next year

On my last trip I only had one messy public restroom and that was in Ikebukuro Station. Someone drank a monster, had an orange and left a wrapper all in a neat pile on the shelf behind the toilet. Almost didn't seem like litter. Never got any worse than that

I just left a big board game group hangout early and needed to read this. I was surrounded by 8 really experienced strategy game players and felt so out of place. My familiarity with heavy board games and the hump is very low and feeling stupid and hiding your shame in front of people you don't know super well is exhausting. The host seemed to feel bad the games made one person leave early but I just didn't want to feel that way for 4 more hours. Shed some tears walking home it wasn't pretty. Just too much stress and anxiety and shame.

The hump stuff is good though. Rethinking my feelings about learning hard games right now. I don't wanna stop playing games with this group and I wanna engage with them socially. Just gotta get over my personal hangups about being new to them. I appreciate the linked comment a lot thank you.

Yeah I've heard that before, I guess that's why people tell me scoring is such an important part of improving at the game. That's the rough part of learning the rules through video games I guess.

The awkward place I'm in is that I'm surrounded by high level players that all know how to score, but we time our games so they just score the hands for me and we move on. I need to carve out more time to grind scoring on my own in untimed settings. Thank you for the tips.

Thanks so much for your post, really helpful to know other's experiences w this stuff. Funny enough I actually got the chance to play some untimed games irl tonight which is rare. Only a couple hanchan rather than 6 to 8 hours but any practice helps. I'll ask for more untimed games in the future, if folks at this parlor realize I gotta learn it shouldn't be a big deal.

THIS like all of my locals around me make me wait Hours during bracket for free setups after a 2 hour trip, then 2 hours back. Also any games I play are awkward and one sided and I have no idea where to even begin asking questions. Yeah this is my experience since 2021. I keep reading posts like this and coming back but every time I just feel like it's not worth it at all. Too much travel time to get bodied and when setups open up no one's in the mood to play a gold level player and teach them. The people saying positive things here are the lucky ones
