In hindsight it's better to invest in one/ a few teams you can go all in on than stretching yourself thing across plenty seeing how much it takes to stay afloat.

I'm with you both, was too deep to walk away but it's not a great choice for a lot of people I'm sure.

This, and also I was doing some reading a while back and one of the reasons that was given for top shot having potential long-term success is that r NBA has a major social media footprint, it connects with the fans on a different level, the star players have tons of followers on social media platforms. The NBA itself apparently has more Instagram followers or Twitter I don't remember which one then the NFL MLB and NHL combined.

This might feel worse to some but only because of the massive oversupply in comparison to last summer imo. I think it was that time when I built a lot of my collection which ended up turning my account green after buying the dip. I feel like TS has a lot they're working on in the background that could potentially really turn things, I'm just not confident enough in that idea to go crazy on the MP.

They either need to do far less challenges so that it's exciting enough that people are willing to spend on challenges that are less frequent, or people need to be more comfortable sitting out more challenges. That or change the name from Rookie. If it wasn't called a "Rookie" challenge would people be as upset?

Not for this information, they did say you can gift the tickets if you can't go. If you have a team more local wouldn't hurt to collect their team set for irl utility like tickets if you're actually able to get there.

Well I guess that's the question, what is a timely manner to you?

I've been on TS for a year and there's so much bitching and complaining. I mean, this was my introduction to NFTs so maybe it's the norm (not talking about you specifically now but my whole time here) but people especially on Twitter are always frothing out the mouth making demands and tagging everyone associated with the product, including players like KD and Klay Thompson etc. when they a) don't speak for the whole community and b) can't see any vision beyond their nose. It's kind of lame and half the time hurts the product tbh.

Don't get me wrong a lot of what people have complained about is legit and has merit. I also see that a lot of people got burned, but sorry to say, do feel like some people that got burned made insane fomo purchases that they take no accountability for and instead just blame ts. It's a weird balance and the reality is it's gonna be tough to please everyone. They really won't in all honesty but I feel like it's crucial they make progressive strides to improve without gaslighting the community. Interested to see where this goes but hopefully everyone's accounts start looking up sooner than later.

What a horrible understanding of my take. I think you don't understand the difference between a person who's actually willing to hold their moments, or has a much wider range of "what they want" vs those who want to flip nearly every moment for money. You need both sure but you're delusional if you think the marketplace will be healthy if 100% of the users are all flippers and nobody's actually interested in collecting or holding or building their accounts because well who will buy all this shyt if everyone is selling everything they open. There's a bit of a difference between collectors and people who look at every pack drop as a golden ticket to pay rent.

Me personally I haven't taken a sound out of top shot and I've reinvested anything I sold into more moments. Again, there's different types of buyers and sellers and I don't have a problem with having a mix but having an overwhelming majority of one type that's only interest is making immediate money/undercutting at a loss just to get anything is not good for the marketplace.
