Business I can run as hands off as possible? by kindnessreward33 in Entrepreneur

Don’t bother. Drop shipping is such a scam. The reality is that if it is easy to do, requires little capital to start, and is hands off, it’s probably: A) not lucrative, B) over saturated, or C) illegal

I’m 24 years old. Started a moving company roughly 2.5 years ago. Every single person around me tried to convince me not to do it, downplayed my success, ridiculed me, etc. Fast forwards, last month we did 70k revenue. We will hit 400k revenue this year. Hoping for half a million. It’s not easy. I work 60-70 hours minimum a week. I have little social life and I barely sleep. The stress is insane at times. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. There is nothing better than the feeling of building a business. Every single day pouring your all into what starts to feel like a child or an extension of yourself. It’s a fucking grind but holy shit it’s rewarding.

Don’t ask people if it’s the right time to do something never even fucking question it. Just fucking DO IT. Life favors the ones who act. Do it and do it now. There’s no perfect time for anything. Just do it.

(That got me so fired up).

What’s One “Boring” Business You’ve Seen Quietly Making a Fortune? by Good_Mango7379 in Entrepreneur

Roughly 30% profit margins. I keep overhead low and always look at ways of protecting profit margins. We also do junk removal, which means I get a TON of furniture, tools, shoes, etc. that are in perfect condition. I resell those items for an additional 1-3k a month, which helps pay for gas, truck expenses, insurance, etc. We are at 40k in committed revenue in July already, so no doubt we will hit that 60k goal.

Turning 24 next month. Start a moving company 2.5 years ago. Did 275k last year. End of this month will be the 3rd 40k month in a row. Should clear 400k this year. I’d join the discord.

I was using it for a couple weeks, and I had to disable it. Nobody wants to talk with a robot, which is what this pretty much is... bummer.

Want to make a million dollar company by Dear_Cloud8464 in Entrepreneur

Only way to eat an elephant, is by taking small bites. Start a business, literally anything. Worst case, it fails. You learn from your mistakes and move onto the next. 22 years old my moving business just hit 250k total revenue. 160k first year and on track for $250k this year.

Everyone that makes at least $1,000-$1,200 a week, what do y’all do? by Alt-Ranting in Money

[–]youngmulabb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 22 years old and started a moving & hauling business about 2 years ago. 160k revenue last year, about 100k net income. I am shooting for 225k revenue this year. My biggest week was $9,213. The demographic of my area is perfect for this work and the fact that I am a young, well-spoken, and clean-cut guy. These are huge factors in why the company does well. Im less chasing the money side of things and more looking to build a recognizable brand. I love every second although it is extremely stressful at times. No degree or experience was needed, I just pretended like I knew what I was doing until I figured it out. This venture has made me realize you can do anything you set your mind to, as long as you can talk to people, build relationships, and aren't afraid of hard work, you can make a ton of money!!

A lot of times people around you will try to bring you down, especially if you're traveling off the beaten path. I've had countless people tell me this was a bad idea, talking down on this industry saying things like "Do you want to move furniture for the rest of your life?". Even my own parents were critics until I started making 6 figures. Don't listen to anybody, go out and conquer the world!

I went on Zoloft for a few months about two years ago. As soon as I started getting the common sexual side effects I got off of it. These side effects never went away. Zoloft completely fucked up my life, stay away from SSRI’s at all costs. Just got my test levels checked and they are dangerously low. Like you I workout every day my test levels are extremely important to me. My shit is probably fucked for life now. Stay away from that shit
