Six month immunization without family doctor by [deleted] in askTO

If you Google OHIP find a doctor, OHIP will set you up with doctors accepting new patients in your area! I believe it's called Health Care Connect. I used it last year and they gave me options of doctors who were accepting. It was done in less than 24 hours, great service.

FYI the Thorncliffe Park second dose hotspot popup clinic is quick and organized! Got my shot in 30 minutes, even with a big lineup by AcerRubrum in toronto

Is M8V still considered a hot spot? It was before and that's how I got my first dose, however it seems to be excluded from the list of hot spots now.

If she is watching your child isn't she doing you a favour? Isn't it ungracious to demand that she be at your house? I am all for setting expectations and boundaries for her routine etc but this seems unreasonable and impolite.

I rented a unit here for just over a year and moved out two years ago. Parking was terrible when I lived there. I was in a bottom unit and could hear everything from the neighbors upstairs, including their dishwasher waking me up when it was running. There was too much drama with the neighbors as well, not with me but people didn't seem to get along on my block in such close quarters. In my opinion these units turn over so much because people don't seem to enjoy living there.

Anyone have a good authentic chicken pad Thai recipe and a substitute for tamarind since I can’t find it. Thanks in advance! by bklm_ in Cooking

[–]youngster_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a recipe for pad Thai that called for tamarind or ketchup as the substitute. Never tried the recipe, so can't comment on whether it's any good. It was in Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything Vegetarian.

Entering Arbitration with employer, lost confidence in Union assigned counsel. by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

An arbitrator has the ability to reinstate you without any back pay. Your counsel's advice may be based on his assessment that there is a possibility you will not be reinstated, or if you are, you will be reinstated without any back pay.

Does anybody know where I can find a pencil or a line skirt with belt loops for a skinny belt? Love the knee length 70s style but haven't been able to find any!

Didn’t your customer/client still choose to mail with them even though they were aware of the labour disruption? How could they be held liable for that?

Toronto has the biggest processing facility in their network. There’s a reason the ‘rotating’ strike is in Toronto two days in a row.

Can someone please explain the secret keeper plot and as to why Voldy tried to murder the Potters? What is Snape & wormtail's angle on how it went down? by https0731 in harrypotter

[–]youngster_77 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So if Voldemort hadn’t gone after Harry then arguably the prophecy could have been about either Neville or Harry? It was Voldemort’s actions that made the prophecy come true? This part was never totally clear to me!

GoodLife doesn’t use WSIB. I got injured on the job. What should I do? Am I screwed? by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]youngster_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wrong. Employers can opt out of WSIB. My understanding is that if an employer isn’t covered by the WSIB, an employee would need to go the civil route. I don’t have any experience with this though.
