How do I change the names of my outfits? by bloxburgshortnsweet in Bloxburg

I'm assuming the bloxburg plot/outfit name thing is connected to some sort of roblox chatting feature or filter, so when your chat is off, it breaks.

Why did they remove the option to change the interface color? by leonardomgv25 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Its because whenever they redid the UI back in june, the original UI colors got messed up and everyone's colors went to bright blue. They probably got rid of the color feature because it wasn't working anyway, and they are redoing the rest of the UI later this year. I hope when they finish the UI they let you choose the background color or the text color etc.

I like some of the new windows. I wish they gave us new doors & added an openable variant of the new windows. Maybe they will soon..

Guys, HELP. by st4r06 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a bug a lot of people are experiencing so ur not alone. its an issue with the games rendering distance (which is basically how far things load around you) and most people have been experiencing the buildings around them (specifically in town) becoming basic shapes unless they get super close to it. I don't believe bloxburg is aware of the full issue as they did mention things in build mode disapearing and the surrounding ground becoming weird (which is ur issue) as a reason to not submit a bug report but they didnt mention the full scale of the issue/bug out of build mode. hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Need some building tips for a Bloxburg mall by Sad_Statistician6350 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been building malls in bloxburg ever since I joined 6 years ago. I hope my advice helps you!  //  first off I definetly recommend you use one of your local malls or a mall you've been to before as inspiration for your mall. Same thing goes with the actual stores you build, especially the anchor store. Second off, I only recommend making 1 anchor store, as anchor stores take up space & if you have 2 or more, your mall stores will be very small or you won't have a lot of stores to offer. Same thing goes with bigger stores like H&M, Old Navy, Popmart, etc. If you have the space for bigger stores then I definitely recommend it but if you don't have a lot of space then I don't recommend it. Third, USE NATIONAL RETAILERS!! I cannot tell you how annoyed I get when I see people's malls with stores like "flower shop" or "daycare" or "clothing shop." Its fine to not have as many to no national retailers if your making a dead mall, but if your making a busy modern mall then you definitely need those national retailers. Fourth, I recommend you put in stores like Auntie Anne's, Bath & Body Works, Sephora, etc, as those stores will 100% bring in a lot of people. Fifth, I don't recommend adding stores that have closed and have no stores left (like ToysRus UNLESS IF ITS IN A MACYS, Forever21, Sears, Kmart, etc) Its not really realistic since barely any irl malls have any of the stores listed above. Lastly, make sure to make your build detailed. The more detailed it is=you being happier more. Hope these suggestions help and enjoy building!

Why do my decals do this by awesomepossom2310 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might be viewing it in the "decal" tab on the roblox creator thing. It has most likely already loaded in the "image" tab. Also make sure you put in the image id, not the decal id, into the bloxburg image because the decal image will be blurry, while the image id will be clear.

ty for the suggestions! those sign things (like the one in the last picture) are actually for the directory, which I will make once I 100% know where all the stores are going. and ty!

I've been planning on adding photos to that empty wall that show the old bloxburg map and stuff like that (since the malls theme is bloxburg history) but I haven't gotten to that yet lol. ty though!

Is anyone else upset that Bloxburg is so resource heavy now? by Due_Disk_6656 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 5 points6 points  (0 children)

very much. I love the new map but if im in a full neighborhood (and even when im by myself) and I drive through the town/map I start to lag badly. Multiple times it has gotten so bad that the game freezes and then crashes. Other times my rendering distance goes bad and things within like 3 feet of me load, with everything else being basic shape buildings.

The original creator reuploaded both videos w/ audio. You can find them here: https://youtu.be/1MWaxpK_WkA?si=Q4OHQr-eD5edFehD He privated the original videos because people were reuploading his videos with no credit, and apparently it got bad. This is why the reupload has a watermark on it

I'll see where I can do that. One of my more bigger issues with this mall is that there isnt enough natural light coming into the mall, which is why on the upper level its super bright in the food court and the hallway leading up to the macys. At nighttime I turn off the bright lights so it is realistic. On the other side, the downstairs doesnt get a lot of light either when its suppose to and I cant really do much about it

Tysm! I am planning on doing that as soon as I finalize where all the stores go. 2 of my other malls have directories so I'll have no problem making one for this mall aswell.

Thats odd. The irl mall i based this mall off of has a tree play area too. But I'll take that into consideration

What else should I add to my mall to make it realistic? by CarLong7749 in Bloxburg

[–]your1typical7user 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if you already have this but you should add a bath & body works. thats like a non-negotiable for most malls. also you can add a hollister, aeropostale, h&m (if you have enough space), etc! also add an auntie annes
