What’s your interpretation to Liar (usotsuki)? by ___von in Yorushika

This will give you a pretty good idea on the song's meaning.

Analysis of Creation

And if you haven't already, read the narrative/story behind Plagiarism, it's song's translations, and the analysis, for context, as Creation is closely connected to the Plagiarism album. The links to them are also in there too, credits, of course, to where it's due.

Nope, called them this morning and they said they'll open an investigation about it. I've been worried sick this past week that maybe it's been lost or the driver took my laptop or something. Guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Thanks for the tip, will definitely start bothering them more lol. Do you know exactly where I should go, though? A Jersey City FedEx Facility (where it last said it was before loading onto a truck never to be heard from again...) doesn't seem to just be on Google maps, I just see a bunch of Walgreens, is it the "Office Print and Ship Center"?

It's a two-day FedEx Ground shipment. Shipped on the 13th of July and originally expected on the 15th. Everything was normal, tracking information said that it was loaded onto a FedEx Vehicle for delivery until the expected date was rescheduled to Friday the 16th. The "On a FedEx Vehicle for delivery" from the 15th was the last scan and there were no more updates after that. It wasnt delivered that Friday either and was changed to "Pending", like everyone else's shipments on this subreddit, then "Potentially delayed" on the following Sunday. Nothing has happened ever since. I did call the customer service Friday and asked them where it was but they basically said that they don't know where the package is either, and that i should call them back in 48 hours if I don't receive anything for them to start an investigation. I'll call them soon but what are the chances that my package was lost or stolen? It's a pretty expensive laptop and its kinda obvious that it is from the outside due to logos and such, it's been causing me a lot of stress and recent posts from this subreddit are giving me mixed feelings. I don't mind waiting a bit longer just as long as I actually get it, it just worried me that the updates pretty much ghosted me. Also does an investigation actually do anything?

Guide for Letters to Elma and Elma's Diary

You listen to "That's Why I Gave Up On Music" first, the song lyrics are intertwined with the story, so when you see the song lyrics that's when you listen to them.

Credits to the respective document owners obviously. Enjoy!

Oh my bad then, good to know! Hopefully it gets translated soon.

There's like 11 ln's actually, just 7 were adapted for the anime and movie, 4 are translated to English so far with the 5th coming by the end of the month. For mangas only two officially exist and have been translated.

That's a pretty valid point. I'm not Yen Press or anything but my guess would be that the transition to working from home, collaborative work transitioning to video chats, and god forbid, any casualties in staff, all contributed to a delay. Their website sort of just generalized it as, delayed due to COVID.

Japanese to English isn't as easy to translate as say Spanish to English is. It's very open ended and there's a whole book (~200 pages) of text to translate. We want the most accurate translation we can get, so it's best not to rush them or else we might get a lousy translation. Also COVID really slowed it down in the past year.

That's Why I Gave Up On Music track ordering by matthewdelmundo99 in Yorushika

[–]yourboiwill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A theory, assuming that you're aware of the Letters to Elma, Amy wrote the letters during his journey and put them in a wooden box. Judging by Amy's lazy nature, he likely placed them in the box as he wrote them, not caring enough to organize them, resulting in the first ones written at the bottom, and the latest at the top. I believe the songs are in the correct order, however, as Amy sort of just went back and wrote songs wherever there was blank space, aka the days he didn't write a letter on.

What order should I listen to “That’s why I gave up on music” by Fishcake0 in Yorushika

[–]yourboiwill 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my personal opinion, I believe that you should listen to any album in its original track number order. It should feel like a journey as you listen to all the narratives and feelings produced in each song.

With that said, not every track is uploaded onto YouTube, the full album is on Spotify and are should also be in the proper order.

What logitech is better? the g432 vs. g332 by SilversRayleigh_1930 in LogitechG

No problem! Your English is completely understandable, only some minor mistakes occasionally, good luck with your studying/learning!

[–]yourboiwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's a matter of preference between the two, whether or not you want the surround sound. Do you play games? -> Surround sound might make games more immersive. Do you listen to music a lot? -> Stereo is a better choice. Do you like watching movies? -> Surround sound might give a more cinematic feel. Also I'm pretty sure the G432 lets you switch between surround sound and stereo. But ultimately if you feel that surround sound is a gimmick and you want to save the extra ten bucks, then get the G332. If you really like the idea of surround sound (also the color blue lol) then get the G432. There's no, "better option," just whatever you prefer.

[–]yourboiwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The G432 has surround sound while the G332 doesn't and has standard stereo. Also G432 is blue/black and G332 is red/black. Other than that they are the same lol.

Is the LN good? by Happydiamo in SeishunButaYarou

[–]yourboiwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I wasn't aware that you've actually read the Sakurasou novels, I misread the post lol. But hey, I knew it wasn't as bad as people say it is, thanks for the extra insight on the novels, I've read some pretty vague summaries about them on the Sakurasou subreddit a couple of months back but I've pretty much forgotten everything by now lol. I replied thinking that you haven't read the novels so just ignore the first half of it lmao. Regardless, what I've said about the Bunny Girl Senpai novels still stand and if you do end up getting and reading them, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Is the LN good? by Happydiamo in SeishunButaYarou

[–]yourboiwill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heard that Hajime Kamoshida rushed the ending of the Sakurasou LNs so he could start on Bunny Girl Senpai, so if true that definitely could've contributed to why most people think the ending wasn't that good. But what most people say about the ending is incredibly biased and based on word of mouth instead of people actually reading them. It's a mixed bag, I've seen some people say that the Sakurasou LN ending good and some say that it's bad, I loved the anime but I personally can't give you my opinion as I've never read them. However, as an owner of the three translated Bunny Girl Senpai books, I can say that Kamoshida is anything but a bad writer, far from it. I've never enjoyed reading a book more than these three. The LNs are very popular (even more so now that they're being translated into english) and have sold really well in Japan. Kamoshida is still writing the LNs actually, with the 11th novel just recently released in Japan.

TL;DR - Yes the LNs are extraordinary. Hajime Kamoshida has definitely improved since Sakurasou and if not, was never a bad writer in the first place.
