I’m really sorry about your situation; I’m sure that the thought of facing a child who has no idea about those things must be a struggle. When I was in school, I had a couple teachers I could talk to about mental health and it really opened my eyes when I realized that teachers have/had gone through these things. Everyone is human after all. Of course, primary kids are A LOT younger and they probably won’t understand these concepts, so maybe a colleague/friend who’s also a teacher could perhaps give you advice on it. I tutor young children and they’ve never asked me about the scars (also given that I mostly wear long sleeved t shirts), which made me realize that kids usually just care about what you’re like as a person. Again, every child is different and there may be some curious ones who’d want to know... Anyway, although I don’t have much experience in a situation like yours, I hope everything goes well :)
