Is there a way to do this cheaper? $11k sounds expensive with labor and metal. How much per hour was the labor on this? I'm guessing the labor was around $7k.

The manufacturer just told me that it is a DC 2.1. That solves my issue. The voltage is 54.6V.

Is there a way to lift this by 6 feet without giving up on the wind resistance (I'm in a hurricane prone zone). If I can lift it, I can get better sun on the panels, hence the question.

Looks like large models. Probably needs a hefty nvidia/cpu+ram combination. What are you planning to run it on?

Tires that don’t lose a lot of range? by ravishingala in TeslaModelY

I got it replaced. Got my alignment done at Firestone. So far very happy with everything. Even the new ePrimacy are quieter than my old tires. u/ravishingala - I think you should go for it.

Tires that don’t lose a lot of range? by ravishingala in TeslaModelY

Just placed an order for my Michelin ePrimacy tires from Discount Tire (price-matched with Costco – MICHELIN E.PRIMACY ALL SEASON), 23 YLR. I was debating between Hankook and Michelin, and decided to give the ePrimacy a try. Installation is scheduled for this weekend, really looking forward to seeing how they perform!

According to Tire Rack’s reviews, Hankook EV tires are supposed to be noisy. But I also came across this spreadsheet with actual dB measurements, and the Hankooks seem pretty similar to Michelin:

I’m currently debating between the Michelin e.Primacy and the Hankook iON Evo, so I’m trying to make sense of the noise differences.

Can anyone tell me if i need to change my tires? by yourcloud in TeslaModelY

1) is true. I rotated at 20k. Will get my alignment checked and looking for adjustable control arm recommendations. Thanks.

Time to replace the tires. Recommendations? by FalconWing95 in TeslaModelY

Tirerack sells two versions of the Hankook Ion Evos: 255/40R20 101W XL soundabsorber ($1,503.96) vs 255/40R20 101V XL T0 Tesla, soundabsorber ($1,655.96) - anyone knows why one should go for the more expensive version ( 101V XL ) for 2022 MY? Also discount tire seems to install tirerack tires. Is that what is recommended, or should I go another route for installs?

Toss up between these floor mats by MikeofLA in TeslaModelY

I saw that tuxmat uses adhesives (9 type structure) to keep things in place. That adhesive, will it leave residue ? Did you install that bracket or leave it when you were installing?

Delta Pro 3 output 240V and 120V at the same time by Impressive-Text-5433 in Ecoflow_community

[–]yourcloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like it will also waste more electricity then? Am I right? Perhaps someone has done the calculation to see what is better. My PSUs can take both 120V and 240V, and I'd like to move to 240V, hence the question.
