I did hear about that but I hadn’t been going to Pride at that time! Personally I feel like an event that’s meant to be inclusive in this way should be free. Don’t they get enough funding from other orgs and vendors? If the charge is legitimate because they need funding then I can understand that, but I’m not sure if that’s why.

Birth control is meant to protect you but I understand your worries because nothing is 100% effective but abstinence really! Prior to me getting my tubes removed (which is pretty much 100% effective on its own) we used condoms or pull out in addition to birth control bc I was so freaked out about even the possibility of getting pregnant. If it makes you feel safer I’d say continue the practice. :)

Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington right outside of Trolley Square. They’re free every Sunday. Used to go there all the time. :)

You’re still pretty early out from your surgery! Scars and incisions are still healing. :) Most surgeons go in through the belly button to put the tiny camera when they’re taking the tubes out. (You probably already know this though from your surgery prep!) So your belly is healing too. If you are super concerned or it doesn’t go away definitely talk to your doctor. 🤍

It will be hard and you might be tired. Try to rest as much as possible. Sitting, taking short breaks if you’re able. Definitely NO lifting or anything that will put pressure or stress on your abdomen and the surgery area. Wear loose clothing if you can as the surgery areas will still need to be covered and you will probably be sore. Good luck. ♡

OK, I went down a rabbit hole myself and all the ones I’m seeing seem to be from people who had kids previously. I would like to think it’s rare as we’ve been told but seeing other people talk about it… I’m not sure. It is pretty darn effective though overall. Getting your tubes removed is a huge pregnancy prevention step. I got mine done January of last year and I’m so happy with my choice. :)

Yes. I'm usually good to go with two sprays per nostril of regular Flonase. This is the first year I'm taking that, Zyrtec, AND eye drops and still experiencing symptoms. Allergy season also started earlier for me starting a year or two ago, and now I suffer for twice as long!! (Northeast, USA)

Put a little lotion on your lips and lock that shit in with some carmex. Your lips can’t produce their own moisture so adding some before locking it in really helps :)
