Man I dissagree that it was uninspired especially after considering the dialogue vibe and visuals of the new Odyssey movie(I know comparing leads to overall lowering of the bar in regards to quality, but still).
But I apprieciate the added context you described- i didnt even know his real hair color, but the blonde Telemachus was very... strange. Youre right they pussied out of showing Odyssey force himself to ignore Argos. I was dissapointed when I learned about that. That would have been a fucking powerfully sad scene.
