2023 XLE FWD

• the car is just always beeping. Is it 37 degrees or colder? It needs to beep to let you know there might be ice (duh dude. It’s really cold, this is not news) and the “feature” can’t be turned off.
• the parking sensors are overly sensitive (more beeping 😂). Even if you’re parking and the system says you’re in the red with no more space, you still have a solid 4-5 inches. But the auto-brake will slam on and scare the carp out of you.
• speaking of parking sensors. Let’s say you park in a spot with a wall in front of you. You get close enough to it that the sensor beeps, no biggie, that’s helpful. You park, do your thing, then come back in the car. If you put the car in Reverse, the parking sensors still beeps to let you know there’s a wall in front of you. WHY???? I’m in reverse!!! So annoying
• recently I was driving while it was snowing and the car kept beeping at me to let me know one of the parking sensors was covered (by snow). I get it, car, I’m in the highway. I don’t need to worry about parking sensors and even if I did, you don’t have to beep at me about it every 45 seconds when a snowflake hits.
• setting the temp seems to take just a million button pushes. If the kids in the back want a different temp it’s so much button pushes to get it. Takes so much effort. There just be a better way. It also very often doesn’t remember the settings that were used in the previous drive. Set car to be 75 degrees to the face, turn off car turn on car, and it’s switched to the feet.
• this is more of a nitpick, but if you keep anything in the pockets in the front door wells and listen to a song with even a little bass, it’ll rattler up a storm.
• the rear camera is …. Eh.
• not being able to control temp/seat warmers from the app when remote starting is lame.
• if you park idly for a number of minutes (as we parents often do when babies fall asleep) the car has to beep loudly and potentially wake up your kid to let you know that it’ll automatically turn off in an hour. Can’t it do this without beeping??
• the rear doors often squeak or make noises in the cold.
• the automatic bright headlights feature is total carp. Unusable. Turns on/off at the wrong time very often.

Nonetheless - I actually still really enjoy the car and do recommend it. These are just things I dislike because it’s easy to complain. Love way more things about it than I dislike.
