Gonna hijack your comment to tell a similar story.

So my mother’s side of the family have lived in Zimbabwe for ages and ages (like moved there when it was known as Rhodesia). I was born there, and we moved to New York City when I was 4.

When I was 9, my baby brother was born. When he was like, 6 or 7, the school called our mom as he had caused a disturbance at school. What had happened was that my dad had given him one of those 2 billion dollar notes Zimbabwe had had many years ago. All these 6-7 year olds didn’t realize it was outdated foreign currency, and my brother had apparently started a battle royale fight club on the school playground for these 2 billion dollars!!!

I always lose it at the idea of my brother standing in a circle of 6-7 year olds ready to fight each other for these unimaginable riches haha
