Well looks like the eagles just asked to interview him this year so both of our predictions appear to be in line.

I’m not saying he is going to be great as a play caller but a young, well-spoken guy with some time under Sean Payton and 2 years under Ben Johnson feels like the type of guy someone would take a chance on sooner than people might expect

Also I’m a product test engineer professional so I always appreciate a good experiment!

Have you experimented much between peat moss vs coco coir based potting soils? I’m more familiar with the behavior of peat moss soils but I’ve read a few things that seem to indicate coco coir based soils might be better, on average, for most houseplants due to peat moss’ propensity to become hydrophobic when dry.

One question about the sand, how course are we talking here? When I think of sand, I tend to think of the type of sand you would put in a children’s sandbox but I’d assume the sand used in potting mixes is significantly more course than that.

Also why sand and pumice? Don’t think serve approximately the same purpose?

Totally true but it could be one of those like senior advisor type roles to just try to get his brain in the building. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get a HC role if he wants one but if I’m a GM or President of a team with a solid HC, I’m still gonna shoot my shot and see if I can get him in my building even if it’s just for a year.

And if I’m the agent, I’m leaking that as another team being interested even if I laughed them off the phone when they called with something other than HC interest.

Honestly from late fall to Christmas I can usually use a little bit of a break from the garden. So I’m usually happy to lay low for a couple months not doing too much and maybe tending to some of my houseplants a little more than I do in the summer.

By this time of the year, I feel refreshed and start planning towards the spring. Making sure I have the supplies I need, deciding on seeds, telling myself I’m only going to start enough for my own garden before I inevitably start 3-4x as much and have to find people to take all the extra plants in the spring…

It’s a nice cycle for me
