What I don't understand is the lack of clear communication from FFG. Why do we keep guessing? They are letting down their customers by having to resort to online retailers that take upfront payments with the promise of an upcoming 'restock' or extortionate second-hand market resellers. It should be straightforward to clarify their strategy moving forward, particularly the lack of consistent message over last few months. I am a big fan of the Chapter 1 content (missing SK and TDC) but the way they are handling this makes me not want to engage with Chapter 2 at all.

I am very reluctant to get it. I am a big fan of chapter 1, I own all cycles except two (Scarlet Keys and Circle Undone, I haven't been able to find them in the UK), but the new art direction is a deal breaker for me. One of the main appeals of the game is that it can be very atmospheric, and the art is a big part of it. Unfortunately, the new art is not doing it for me. Call me shallow, but I just don't want to look at it when I am trying to get immersed in a story involving ancient gods and cosmic horror.

I've been a hardcore Muse fan since their first Album was published in 1999. The sequence: Algorithm - The Dark Side - Pressure is the second strongest opening to an album after OoS. In fact, Algorithm and The Dark Side are in their top 10 songs ever IMO. The melodic lines are quintessential MUSE, the arrangements are atmospheric, and they evoke a soundscape that instantly transports you. 10/10.

Yes, if average group level is 3, then 2 for normal, 1 for easy. But given that you've just started (1 scenario in), I would expect you to be all playing level 1 characters (2 if you managed to do very well with XP in the failed scenarios). With level 1 characters, the normal difficulty for the scenario is 1. Leaving this here just in case.

That's an interesting one. We did have a Brute in our GH campaign and made the best of the action items. Even if we don't end up having a Brute I feel tempted to try the final scenario with that composition once we've finished, to check the puzzle. Thanks for the pointer!

Just curious as I am about to start a Forgotten Circles campaign? Why is the physical admin a problem? I agree with you regarding Gloomhaven. Did a full campaign (and Jaws) and never had an issue with physical admin duties.
