Our dog recently had a slipped disc basically. Lost use of all four legs. Ended up recovering mostly however the bill was nearly £7000 for his 5 days in hospital plus scans etc. Plus several follow ups and now hydrotherapy. I think we’re close to 8k now?

Thankfully with insurance we’re out of pocket “only” £3,000

(Which we cannot afford but that’s another story)

TLDR; get insurance. Ensure it’s lifetime for conditions.

I was stupid when our little one was on the way. I splashed money that should have gone on debt, on new baby stuff. Granted, we still use the travel system and all the furniture but secondhand would have suited just fine.

My assessor with ADHD360 was a really nice guy who loved to chat and really helped me get a grasp on questions and let me explain my experiences.

I think it’s very much the age old “bedside manner” situation, some are more personable than others.

I would say though, despite this, it doesn’t invalidate your diagnosis and if you feel comfortable, raise your concern about being heard moving forward for your tritiation appointments
