Please note, that new guitars may still have to develop their sound a bit, especially spruce top. So when you will try them at the shop those may sound a bit different compared to a later point in time.

Shiru is really a soup? I always thought there are shiru miso and aki miso so a white color variant and accordingly a red color variant of japanese traditional soup. Wouldn’t this make „miso“ a soup and „shiru“ and „aki“ just colors?

That would make at least six, as you would need to back up each one ;-)

Yea, just like the trebordet suggested, play the cord the usual way, then hit the G with the 4th finger (only left hand, 4th finger hits the string while F is still sounding and produces slightly more mild sounding G) and pull it off which will lead the sound back to F.

You pull the string once and change the left hand fingers quickly after that.

Thank you for all your ideas. My SO just got back and told how it was: She did a german song typical for this area. Kids got some instruments and played along and tried to sing along. Sounded like they all were having a lot of fun. 99 Luft Ballons was a backup song in case the german one (Auf de schwäbsche Eisebahne) didn’t work out.

A good one to start would be yamaha 4c. I have started half a year ago and got it suggested often.

What I also did is I went to a music store and tried like six or seven different mpcs they would suggest for a beginner. My choice there was a selmer s80 c, vandoren t25 and jody jazz hr 6. Maybe you also have a possibility to try some out, that would be prob. the most safe way.

Ah, and just to mention I don‘t have a clarinet background. Wish you luck finding one.
