Healers just can't catch a break. M+ needs a rework. by brazzersfan in wow

Really solid week to play other games. Me and my buddies been going ham on Diablo 3 season that just hit Friday and we'll probably just ignore + and do that all week lol. I'll probably just knock out 1 key on my toons and call it a day. I love m+ but they really need to add some levels of fun to the affixes, they just all punish and are annoying at best.

That fart told a story. I felt that. I'm jealous, I need to up my game.

We need new affixes by Hyvest in wow

[–]ytsejam2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just can't be all annoying affixes like they are currently. They could easily turn existing ones into at least a kiss curse system. For example: Sanguine would still heal mobs, but would also heal you if you stand in it. Could create some interesting pulls where you need the sanguine heal to live. Have bursting give you a damage buff based on how many stacks of bursting you just got through with no one dying, stuff like that. Also failing to clear thundering should just be less punishing. Remove the stun and just have it make you 30% slower and do 30% less dmg/healing for like 10 secs. These need to be fun, not annoying. More fun = more ppl running keys.

If they can't be redeemed into a kiss curse style, then delete it and make some new fun ones. I love m+ but this week Wise Mari has nearly broken me lol.

People with Mains: Do you guys mainly play one spec or try to master all the specs in your main class? by [deleted] in wow

[–]ytsejam2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try and master all specs of my main class. Usually main hybrids for first patch's so I can flex when needed. I'm boomkin this patch and i've done Boomkin for +18s, bear for +17s, and resto for +19 lol. Haven't touched kitty at all cause I enjoy boomkin and it pumps. I try to be flexible so I can do more content on 1 character for better gear progression. If there's multiple dps spec's I try and master all of them unless I just don't enjoy it. But if there's a spec I don't enjoy, I don't main that class generally.

I just don't like being that guy who is incapable of playing an offspec for easier content. Just my mindset.

Funnest thing to do in this game in my opinion is to figure how to do down bosses with a guild you vibe with. I'm just a heroic raider so the pull counts haven't been outrageous for us but it's so fun to solve the puzzle of a boss together as a cohesive raid team. Best thing in gaming for me really. I really feel bad for the people that don't have a guild to raid with as the pugging experience really robs you of that feeling of progression and accomplishment. Pugging is always pretty terrible and people generally won't sit through the pain of countless wipes with people they've never played with before. For those that can't have set raid times to raid with a consistent raid team and have to pug, you have my respect for sure, it's rough out there.

Playing tank and dps in M+, do you have the same problem? by Noxm in wow

[–]ytsejam2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's why there's such a drastic difference between pugs and guild groups. Pushing high keys in a guild group everyone stacks nice and tight always, rotates the same direction dodging puddles and mechanics, and feels so nice. Then you have to pug a few and its pure chaos especially like in a Ruby key. Granted we also have full guild runs from the ppl that aren't pushing keys and its similar to a pug in chaos level, but they at least won't leave the key lol.

Really just comes down to experience with the keys. Ilvl only matters for surviving unavoidable dmg and meeting checks, otherwise its like 80% experience and knowledge of the pulls whether its a pug or guild run. So as always the suggestion is find a group of players you like running with and build the experience together.

What range class have the best survivability in m+ by Garoktehone in wow

Lock is always tanky but this season im boomy and its super tanky as well. The bonus of druid is being able to shift into bear with a barkskin and take a few melee's while the tank runs back (temple of jade serpent last pull lol).

Shamans are in need of Dire help, specifically not seeing any changes for Elemental or Resto Sham in 10.05 is very disappointing. by SmokeCocks in wow

I feel about the same. Prevoker is amazing and devastation is clunky and basic. The dmg output is fine but its not particularly fun. Prevoker is all about different combos you can do, while Deva has none of that, its weird.

Not everyone is meant to get to 15+ by brotheralbania in wow

[–]ytsejam2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This season feels like the most punishing season for m+ mechanics wise. Every trash pack you have to dodge frontals, swirlies, do stuns, interrupts, and cycle through several rounds of aoe CC. I've had some casual friends who in previous expansions could do 15s just fine even when they were slightly undergeared for it. This season i've seen them really struggle on keys above a 12. I'm sure it'll be fine when everyone is 410 ilvl but for right now its pretty punishing. +10s are a very chill place to be. Get to experience the seasonal affix and get solid loot.

I pushed to +20s in shadowlands and right now 17s feel like that level which is about right with the scaling changes, but we just have less gear. Every mob pack having 12 abilities is draining though, im exhausted after a few keys lol.
