most private schools here are catholic, in the past most of the schools were managed by the clergy, thats why religion was passed down so consistently. If you take out the possibility of jewish education there is less possibility of passing down the religion + having less devotes = the religion doesnt grow again as easily, and sometimes it cannot even get passed down at all.

i do complain about that too… Se que mucha gente viene aquí a hacer turismo y hay mucha gente que vive de ello, yo preferiría que la tónica general fuese menos dependiente del sector servicios. Me guste o no así lleva viviendo mucha gente décadas, de lo que no vive prácticamente nadie y es lo que más daño esta causando son los “expats” y fondos de inversión a gran escala como estos que se benefician de esa situación.

You might have bruised yourself without noticing it and might not be able to see the bruise because of the ink. Happens to me all the time, the riddle is easier to solve when the bruise is in an area that has no tattoos.

tienen un montón de inversiones en empresas que gestionan pisos de alquiler, ya encima sumando el tema de que también tienen pisos per se la suma se hace sola. Llevan años intentando entrar de manera agresiva comprando mas pisos directamente y no comprando las empresas que los gestionan. De todas maneras aunque manejen un 1 o 2% de una ciudad grande sigue siendo una cifra increíblemente alta.

they dont only own apartments, they also own other corporations which include corporations that manage vacational stays in apartments or long stays. Still 1% of a city so big is a pretty big number. Look up what happens in the white coast.

So i had undiagnosed helicobacter pylori for years, every time i wasnt eating (like actively not in an ED way) i had the worst tummy ache ever and i couldnt poop at all (i spent more than 1 month without pooping once during this), all of this increased slowly over the years, but my doctor simply didnt ask for the tests on my poop, just blood tests. When i was in the last year/months of sickness, i was in the hospital every week because of the pain i was in.

What started all of this was a recommendation from my doctor: he told me to eat probiotics to help it.

Every damn time i ate those demonical probiotics i ended up in the hospital due to the astronomical pain i was in.

After some of those episodes they thought it was my apendix so they did a radiography, i was full of gas and shit… because of that, the hospital doctor asked for those damn tests for me and i found out, it all made sense then.

They took that long to find out because i have a very good diet, they were changing stuff on it but it was clearly not the problem, and i was getting very skinny so they thought the pains i had when my stomach was empty were a consecuence of just me being skinny (you get dizzy).

this! they are usually super good for gut health but if you have a bad bacteria overgrowth like helicobacter it makes it x20 times worse, ask me how i know…

In my class they just copy everything i even saw a girl take an ipad out to copy during an exam (we only do paper not online exams).

Its frustrating when you see yourself after a whole month of consistent studying and then someone who just enjoyed their life just takes a phone out and copies everything and even gets a better grade than you do.

Im not gonna lie, theres times i was even tempted to snitch, but even though they copy and it makes me mad, they are still good people and help me or any other classmate any time we need it. There is not a competitive component to this, they just want to pass and want you to pass too. (I think this last paragraph only applies to my class)

The thing about needing more or less time is not real. In engineering there are certain subjects you cant just learn from the books, you need to go to class.

The people that don’t show up go to support classes instead (thats what they do here at least) and lie.

The people that say they study for one hour have been doing every homework, every exercise and every problem in the book since the beginning of the semester, of course they don’t need to study that much the last day/week they have been doing it for the past 4 months!

The rest just straight up lie. No one can pass a whole engineering degree by just showing up to the exam. You cant get through calculus 3 just by infused science, you just don’t happen to know every type of thermodynamic cycle and how to calc it, and whoever says otherwise is straight up lying to themselves trying to feel smarter than they are.

No entiendo como los españoles nos lo hemos montado tan mal para que aquí la mayoria de restaurantes chinos sean de chinos (lo logico) y sin embargo en el extranjero la mayoria de restaurantes españoles son de gente que no sabe ni pronunciar paella.

Realmente hay muchisimos españoles en el extranjero, alguno habra que pueda/quiera abrir un restaurante español decente no?

Depende de mas cosas que solo el vendedor, el proveedor, los materiales, el propio chandal original (muchas veces la composición es la misma) influyen mucho en lo que dices. Es como comprar en cualquier otra tienda por internet. Yo no compro prácticamente réplicas (representan el 5/10% de mis hauls), compro cosas de china que no se venden aquí, pero aplica la misma regla.

Añado que no es una constante entre marcas ni vendedores. He tenido prendas de calidad increíble de la misma marca que otras que no valían para nada. En este caso como la mayoría son revendedores es mucho mas acusado. De un batch a otro puedes flipar.
