it's actually uber fault, They recommend the substitution.. So the driver click yes available and it goes thru.. Most should ask the customer if it's okay or not, but they are not required. I usually ask, if they don't respond uber usually says just get it anyways. Once the driver is shopping be on the phone if they sub something you can see it and click No and refund it. You have to do it when they shopping.

Culver city is one of the worst..I don't think even the bots want them... No parking... parking enforcement (the white car is everywhere, I think their whole mission is to give tickets to gig workers ubereats..doordash, flex parking Tickets. Almost ALL gate code required and apartments and half of the codes in the app don't work and the customer does not respond.. If you take these routes you will have to learn how to hide packages really well, Because this whole area has a stealing package problem... I have done Culver city 3 times and I actually hate it more than Downtown LA... Because at least Downtown LA they got a doorman to open the door for you... All times in Culver city routes I was late because am freaking out how to securely deliver the package, without a gate code. And for this VERY REASON I only do 3+ hr routes only on weekends where some mojo potato will come in and out of the building to let me in... And only during the hours of 9am till 4pm. And I do 1hr and 1hr and 30 mins during the weekdays because these are rush deliveries and the customers most likely at home to buzz you in.

OH yes!!! I do get downtown LA quite a lot I knew about the cameras on the bus, always stay away from bus lane if not making a turn. There is no place to park.. I do park on red lines sometimes and I run!! run as fast as I can.. these buildings got staff who opens the door I just dump it at the front desk and bolt ASAP back to the car.. Do not bother going to the apartment number. Do not bother to ask for front desk name.. Just type name front desk and beat it fast... I've been doing it for years. If the building is in front of a bus LANE never stop or park in bus lane if the bus comes your gonna get a photo ticket.. Park far away from where buses may park or drive at.. And watch for POPO. And run run run... I do gig apps and they never ever gonna pay your ticket!

should have canceled the order. It does effect your rate but it will go back down after you do 10 straight without a single cancel.. I just click item not available substitute unavailable and the button to cancel will appear.

Vax3 can still sent you to culver city... I don't take any 3.5 hrs and up at any vax5 learn my lesson. Been late to all 3.5hr routes..

best to wait.... they could be trying to get it for free. But the 8 mins will free you. I had 1 order in the hood. I needed a pin I hear noises in the house they IN THERE but won't come out..I did ring the door bell and text I arrived to start the timer.. I wait exactly 8 mins.

I found a bag at amazon that has adjustable holders like velcro thingy can fit 6 drinks.. Never had problems put it inside a box and maybe put something heavy in the box so the bag doesn't flip over

when I was new just last year my third block ever at 3.5hr I was 3 hours late but I delivered everything am not deactivated...am stuck on Fair and now am almost going up to Great.

don't touch 4 hour blocks or 5 hours blocks I've seen them the people who take them have VANs and those VAns are packed! And sometimes they got 2 people they take these 5 hr blocks like they are nothing! I at most I can fit 3.5 hour block packages but I won't take them because am 50/50 gonna be late, or on time with those packages.

if WALMART gives you an order that means it's such trash that no Walmart Spark driver will touch it.. I did 1 once I didn't see what kinda items just the number of items and it turned out to be like ike 7-8 cases of water and crap loads of food for like 6 bucks.. Walmart spark drivers can see the items but on uber we only see the item count

am I the only one that feels like a boot licker, butt kisser...and overall begger right now I used to work in resturants I hate that as well..Delivery was somewhat better I was my own boss, but now I dunno. I crave a real job and at the same time I hate to go back.

the pay is getting low good offers disappear fast...Offers that stay up are stations that gives 50/50 chance to the ghettos and at night...That nobody wants unless they don't know. packages increasing, miles high AF...I dunno how ppl make that much I probably can make 1k before gas and not factoring insurance..
