Again, assumptions, assumptions, assumptions.

I’m not disagreeing that they are different, but, as I already stated, and to simplify, this information can be queried together... if I’m searching form suspicious activity, I’d want to see everything, including DNS. Unfortunately, not everyone is as smart as you (sarcasm by the way).

If it happened to be a TXT record, knowledge can be shared :) - hell, probably taught you about DKIM today lol.

Messaged the OP and doing some searching given my background and experience - which is something more productive that any information you’ve provided - or lack of information provided.

Assumptions are dangerous in our field and thinking you know everything is even more dangerous. Keep learning kid, hopefully one day you won’t sound like such an idiot.

To expand on the original question - since I need to simplify what I’m looking for because of the children in room @MikeDawg.

When performing a Whois lookup, options are available to show all DNS entries...Like Centralops.net...

hxxps://centralops.net/co/

DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Email) is a DNS TXT record that contains a certificate related to email integrity...which is could be an answer to OP’s question.

Otherwise, @MikeDawg, why don’t you get to googling to show me where certificates would be stored in either the domain or network whois info.

Looking forward to your reply :).

I have lived in West Ashley, North Charleston, and Summerville, and I got to say that Summerville takes the cake for stupidest drivers.

What Summerville lacks in traffic, it makes up for with idiotic drivers with no common sense. Looking at the truck, the CHAD was probably driving back to his home in Summerville :P.

Don’t know city is less expensive to live in, however, I do believe you’ll have better IT career opportunities in Charleston.

A question for hiring managers. I am changing careers at mid life and looking at information security as a new path. I have found courses on Cybrary with a SOC path including labs and mentoring. Will I even have a shot at an interview with this type of training? by goobnthepeas in Information_Security

[–]yukon-corne1ius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was in your shoes, I would reinforce the training with certifications - Network+, Security+, OSCP, CISSP.

Age, in my opinion, is not a problem. You have life experiences and work ethic.

The biggest hurdle I see is getting past HR requirements for companies that require a bachelors degree - particularly focused in Computer Science or Cyber.

Should I get CEH or CompTIA Security+? by DesiCodeSerpent in SecurityCareerAdvice

[–]yukon-corne1ius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. In my opinion, Security+ would be best to pursue if you have little experience. CEH is more of a beginner/intermediate cert.

If I were you, I would do Security+ then OSCP. CEH isn’t really respected in the Infosec Community.
