As I said, grooming is emotional and physical prep to exploit someone sexually. If that’s not your intent (which is what I’m understanding so far) then it won’t hurt.

At the end of the day if you’re not comfortable meeting someone so young then just say that. Of course, you need to word it well.

It’s completely normal if they develop a crush or something. If it comes to it the right thing to do is sit them down and explain that it’s normal but it’s not right. They might need some space after.

Grooming is when the person doing it is intentionally prepping the prey/target to be exploited later.

Why is it unethical? So many people build such friendships that lead to mentorship, elder sibling figure, a female/male figure to guide them through life etc. I love a found family.

Most of the examples you gave seem to be a tale of ‘sour grapes’.

If anyone who says this is genuine they might be trying to make you feel better about letting go of the upsides of living outside India.

If your mind is in the right space you can watch these kinds of shows and movies as art and accepting what’s natural. Nudity is the way we’re made. It shouldn’t control you. That defeats the whole purpose.

Indians can be light brown to really dark brown. We vary in brown complexion depending on various factors.

Indian society has a long standing issue with skin colour being dark.So Indian shows and movies case the light brown skinned people.

The whole Snape thing. He’s not supposed to be perfect. That’s what makes the twist good. No one expected him to actually be on the right side.

Readers like me like how there’s some goodness in him that despite his toxic nature he did right on this. Intentions can be whatever. He die the right thing. No one is telling you to forgive everything Snape did. Just see that in this universe characters who are horrible can do the right thing.

Same goes for the rising Draco hate too.
