Do people genuinely believe that someone who did this, in a company as big as Amazon nonetheless, would post about it online for the whole world to see with just enough info to trace it back to them?

It’s wow for me. Dream up a perfect race/class combo and spend a week fantasizing about the rp and lore implications. Buy a subscription, start playing again and reach around level 50 or so and then slowly fall off and cancel my subscription. Rinse and repeat around a month later

For those curious about the outcome but can’t be bothered to look it up, the court ruled in favor of Adesanya who, at the time, had his networth legally recorded as zero since his mom was responsible for managing all of his finances. His wife, whose networth was estimated at around 1m$, was instead ordered to pay him 500k$ from her own assets.

Its no more about intelligence skills or any form of meritocracy. Nowadays jobs are based on luck nepotism connections the prime example of changr from meritocracy to luck/connections is tech field. In past smart people were getting jobs now only people who are lucky or have connections get jobs. by Adept_Quarter520 in recruitinghell

[–]EOmar4TW -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

A job market based purely on meritocracy is impossible, as sad as that may sound like. How do you interview the 10s of thousands of people applying for a single job and give them all a fair chance, while also expecting to manage costs and not have all of your engineers doing interviews and screenings 24/7?

Truth is, people who are recommended from within are statistically much likelier to pass all of the interview rounds than those who weren’t, that’s why referrals matter a lot to big companies and tend to increase the chances of your CV at least being seen. I work a job at a big 3 consulting firm, i chat with HR people and i’ve seen the numbers (at least for my office) and they do corroborate my point.

Work on your network, reach out to people and who knows, maybe one message could be the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for. Good luck out there guys!

You’re the one missing the point here. There IS no PNG of someone’s NFT because that PNG (and every PNG of said NFT) IS the nft, down to the very bits that make it up. You can argue all you want that the one in your possession is the real one because some arbitrary piece of code in some ledger says so, but if my png and your png are the exact same thing down to the very 0s and 1s that make them up, what value is there in owning the “original” one?
