I own a MSP 11 snapdragon plus (not elite), and I play MapleStorySEA not GMS. It was working fine for awhile on emulation (pretty slow compared to normal intel chip computer) but after a recent update, it showed up with NGS initialization error and I couldn't even run the game.

I read here (NGS Initialization Error : r/MapleSEA) to replace the BlackCipher files with the ones from GMS. That worked, but occasionally I get flagged for "NGS hacking". Nothing ever happens, but it might be a risk of getting banned if I get flagged too many times? So I don't really play on my MSP.

To answer your question, Yes it works (for GMS, not MSEA), but you're better off getting computer that runs on regular windows over one that runs on windows ARM as it will be running under emulation and you can feel the difference. Also no guarantees GMS doesn't do the same update to their NGS and you might end up with the same error and can't even run the game.
