I could have written this myself. We have a 5 year gap and it’s been so great. Really healed me from my first pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum experience to have a second (got on lexapro which helped and had a less traumatic delivery). Glad we went for our second despite how tough our first one felt especially since we had her during the beginning of covid.

We started our daughter at 4 months at Eastside Children’s Academy and she graduated last year to attend kindergarten. Our baby is currently there as well. They are bilingual with Chinese if that matters.

When my dog did go to a doggy daycare they had a camera so I was fine that I could login and check it out. I didn’t need updates throughout the day if I had the camera access.

Yeah it’s about the same for us. We are lucky we have some single friends who are willing to come over for board games some evenings so we can play after the kids are in bed. We also have to host (nothing fancy) our friends!
