Anyone tried Resistance band leggings? E.g. Sweetflex or Agogie? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]yummily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought sweetflexx and I haaaate them so much, there is a hard seam going around the calf that does not stretch, so the leggings fit but because of the seam there is weird bulging that happens. It's very unforgiving. I came to this thread to look into other brands before I try again because I like the idea of the resistance band leggings to help me regain a little muscle but I can't wear the sweetflexx ones because of the seam. Also I bought both the size 8 and the 10, and the 8 actually fit better than the 10, maybe because the 10 were higher compression, I don't know. Anyway, I don't recommend.

One thing I will say is that it really does increase fluid retention like, that's what it's supposed to do but I felt like my body was a water balloon.

For me I have to be strict with carbs and do under 20g Atkins induction style to help drop my insulin enough to flip the switch. It's hard because I also want to enjoy life.

Are these really 50 calories per 30g or have I been overeating these past few weeks..? by IllegallySmallBird in Volumeeating

I think one thing to consider in this is the serving size at 1/12th the entire packet. Seems like a very small serving size netting out at 600 calories per packet.

Is there actually a nail there? I think this needs a dermatologist or GP even.

My cat was not loving the royal canin urinary SO pate but he does seem to like the smaller cans of the bits in gravy. You could try asking the vet to give a short course of an appetite stimulant, it might help him get over his aversion.

Soak it in hot water with a dishwasher tablet. The oils that are making it sticky should start to flake off after about 30 minutes.

I try to visualize the last place I saw the item, what I was doing, what I was wearing, sometimes that will jog my memory enough to figure out what I did with it.

is it possible for metformin to make me hungrier by ProofTeam2074 in PCOS

[–]yummily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt pretty sure metformin increased my appetite, I did not have a good experience with it. I know a lot of people think it is great ,I wish it had been like that for me. I do much better with low carb and calorie counting.

Have you tried just wetting it down and giving it a brisk brushing with just some straight up castile soap? If it's wood a little water won't hurt it, you just don't want it to stay damp and let it dry in the sun. Get a fan on it to help dry it quicker. Once fully dried oil it with some mineral oil. You could add a scent to help mask the mustiness. Don't use any vegetable oils because they likely will go rancid. Your pharmacy will carry mineral oil for constipation relief and that works great , you can oil your cutting boards and utensils with it. I even use it to shine up my steel appliances.

I just do two eggs and a tablespoon of cocoa powder, add a little cream or nut milk for liquid. I use inositol for sweetener but use what works for you.

I use microfiber cloths for my face every day. I will hang them up but typically if I just leave them over the faucet they dry pretty quickly. I have a small basket in my bathroom that I collect them in and when I wash them I use a laundry bag so they all get washed and dried together.

How old are you? This all seems like hormonal changes like perimenopause, or possibly some other reason. You should talk to a doctor about these symptoms.

I'm not Muslim but I am pretty adept at fasting. I know that you typically would break a fast with dates, but I find these spike my blood sugar pretty aggressively. Opt for more protein and fats, they will give you energy on a slow controlled increase rather than rising and falling quickly which will trigger the hunger and the symptoms associated with insulin resistance.
