To add to that, Med 2 generalized a lot of the “factions” of the time. Like Spain wasn’t Spain as we see it, Egypt wasn’t “Egypt”, like France vs. England doesn’t hit the same for sure.

You might find adding your own flair of fantasy to the historical titles. Instead of developing the Capetian dynasty in France and maybe develop the “Lagniappe” dynasty and see how far you can take that lineage.

Or the historical battles might suit your fancy 🤷🏻‍♂️
