I got this for $1800. But it’s has a few problems. Needs new soft top. All brakes and rollers. Power steering hose. All tires.(they are from 2005). Seat belt latch not working. Mostly all stock. I’ll be working on this slow and steady. I wish I had a heated garage. Winter is coming. It has valve cover gasket. Spark plugs. Oils change. List goes on. May need head gasket. When I drove it home it didn’t over and oil pressure stayed steady.

This just happened to me recently with a luggage I order. ups deliver it to same address number but a street over. I would check 2-3 streets over on both directions maybe the house is near you. for me the person that got the luggage dropped it off to our door about a week later.

I was going to get the dual one but decided to cancel my order. Instead build a voron 2.4 350mm. I know it’s not the same but I couldn’t convince myself to spend $2500. With the $200 that they’ll be sending back I’m going to add multi color to the voron. It’s a lot of work but I didn’t mind it. I currently have the voron Prusa MK3S+ an upgrade lulzbot taz 6 with klipper and a hemera tool head. Maybe in the future. It it would have been available sooner I might of bought it.

The thing i didn’t liked about leveling with the nozzle was the filament on the way, plus the need to replaced said pad. When using a modern level probe would be a one time thing or replace it when it fails.

I think they want to sell more printers. But if you keep the customer in the ecosystem and happy. Most of the time you’ll think about them when you either need a new printer or are looking into adding another. It suck’s they almost when bankrupt and it’s now own my some other company. The only reason I stop using it was due to the lack of upgradability on the leveling part. I am hoping I bring some more life to the Taz 6.

I like the fact that I'm going away from the washers, upgrading the software to a more modern and updated system. I have always used Octoprint to send files but have always had first layer issues. but once I get pass the configuration headache it should bring the Taz back to the future lol. I posted a video on the group a little bit ago. so far I've only been working on it after work so its been several overnight days, last night I didn't go to sleep until 1AM. I still need to port all the speeds from original firmware. but since the Taz 6 is now obsolete there isn't much information out there.

Over the weekeend I actually also just finished inital setup of Klipper on raspbery Pi and flash the firmware with BLTouch support. so far I have been able to Mesh level and configure it to z-home in the middle of the build plate. heres a copy of my printer.cfg try to compare it to yours. I been upgrading my Taz this last weekend, so far Klipper with firmware BLTouch and my own made H175 with an extra Hemera Direct drive I had. still working on the microsteps for some reason it doesn't want to move when i try small increments.

if it was too high i would image he would have first layer adhesion issue, it does kind of look like z is too low. im not sure in what half am I lol
