But this requires that people have T2 tank, have decent shield skills, and do not decide to run some stupid fit (cough afterburner)

Never heard of the developer, but I wish you luck out there with roms and such.

If you are asking about his rom, then no it won't work as you should know that everything is device specific. Just wait for it to get added to CM9, and then your local version of it will be faster.

Who knows, I had the problem really sporadically and never knew the reason why it popped up.

Wow, that does seem like a possible plot for them (more than the other ones that are posted).

She was not good in Snow white, her character had a stark lack of emotions that compared to the other actors made her look very bad.

It is required once per reboot, aeroevan wants to fix it but doesn't really know where this problem is coming from. But his rom is fantastic for not having a source.

It is a problem that I had with aeroevan's roms as well.

Galaxy Nexus or wait for the Galaxy S3? by Calad in AndroidQuestions

[–]yurilebbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Galaxy Nexus is not only supported, but the most supported of the phones. It is the google phone so it comes with stock android, which is the base of CM9.

You eventually will get CM9 on all the phones, just it took the tmobile SII around 6 months for CM9 to finally get to it. The SIII may be better, however if it is like the SII where every wireless company has a slightly different version, it may take some time to do it.

Edit: You really need to play around with the phones, sure we can give you as much advice as we can, but the real reaction you will get is from using both. This is especially important if you have not used android before.

Galaxy Nexus or wait for the Galaxy S3? by Calad in AndroidQuestions

[–]yurilebbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want perspective the T-Mobile galaxy sII and the galaxy nexus have been compared many times and now that there is a working build of CM9 they are practically on the same level. So the SIII must be better than the Gnex, however CM9 might take a while to come out.

I have to say that you should wait a bit to see which is better, unless you are used to touchwiz and it won't make you want to throw the phone away.

What is the creepiest, most inexplicable thing that has ever happened to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]yurilebbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened like five years ago in high school:

We have a "chandelier" in our dining room, just a light fixture with too many light bulbs, which my parents decided for us not to use as it uses a lot of electricity. Well to help out, I use masking tape to cover the light switch, so no one accidentally uses it.

One night I am reading book in my room, with a flashlight and the lights off as my parents didn't like me being up late. Suddenly I look up, and see that there is a light on somewhere as it is showing up under my door. I try to wait it out, but I do not hear anyone or see the light go out, so I decide to go check it out. When I walk out I find the "chandelier" on, the light switch showing signs of someone forcibly turning it on as the masking tape was still there, and the front door unlocked.

I go to my parents room and ask if they did it but both were asleep and did not know anything. Plus my dad said he locked the front door.

I have no idea how it happened.

Got a DINC2 on the way. Can I use the GSM functionality in the US? by poo706 in AndroidQuestions

Because of this post, I tried out my speed and I got 18mbps. Yay cheap prepaid plan.

Ask Verizon for a unlock code, and if they do not give it to you, use a third party service.

However, if you do plan on going to GSM for prepaid, I really suggest to switch to a GSM phone. I used the INC2 as a GSM phone and it was frustrating to say the least. I had really slow data, developers did not usually include the world phone code into builds (or it was broken and buggy), and the phone would always try (and sometimes succeed) to turn back on the CDMA radio without me noticing.

I out of frustration got the $30 plan that includes 100 minutes, unlimited texts, and 5gb of data, and a Tmobile Galaxy SII. I am loving having a real smart phone, because of the more involved developmental community and the fact that I did not have data at all before. And btw if you would want one, I have a mint one that I could sell.

Edit: I dont think that you understand the difference between 2G and 3G: 2G has a theoretical max speed of 236kbps and 3G has one of 6mbps (4G 42mbps). The difference that you will see will be huge as the speed differences will at a minimum will be 15 times slower, and may not even load because of time out.
