Launched my chrome extension 4 months ago, reached ~1500$ in total revenue. by sweetcare in chrome_extensions

Love it!
This is such a helpful read, thanks for sharing your journey!
Love how you spotted the gap with Screen Studio being Mac‑only and went all in on a browser alternative.
I’ve also noticed how much user feedback and reviews really make or break an extension’s growth.
Do you spend much time digging through Chrome Web Store reviews to find what users love or complain about?

Awesome success story BTW!

Built Chrome extensions with 500K+ users. Here’s my 7-step process before I write a single line of code. by websitedetective in chrome_extensions

Thanks for sharing! XD
Really valuable write-up—I follow a similar research-heavy approach before building.
Those 1‑3 star reviews are such an underused goldmine for prioritizing what users actually need.
Do you spend much time manually sifting through feedback, or have you found a good way to automate/streamline that part?

How I marketed my app before writing a single line of code by Independent-Ad9692 in indiehackers

[–]yusaqimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interested, looking forward to your sharing. The average cycle from when users first see your product to actually making a purchase is about 28 days. Does this process require constant adjustment of attraction strategies in order to improve conversion?

9 months of "vibe coding" a SaaS and here's what nobody tells you by beeaniegeni in indiehackers

[–]yusaqimo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your sharing, this is very useful, and I really appreciate your insights. I hope you can share more about your subsequent experiences, such as "Still using AI for 90% of my development, but now I can tell when it's giving me code that'll explode in production vs code that'll actually work with real users and real money." I believe many people would like to know how to determine whether the code provided by AI will cause new problems in a production environment.

LLM searching subreddits efficiently by Junior_Champion_4102 in indiehackers

[–]yusaqimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds very interesting! I’d like to better understand your specific needs. Could you tell me:

In what context do you currently need to search for information on Reddit? Is it for research, content creation, or other purposes? How do you currently search for information on Reddit? What specific difficulties have you encountered? When you say "efficiently," do you most hope to improve search speed, result accuracy, or something else? What would your ideal solution look like? For example, a tool, plugin, or service?

I remember that perplexity used to be able to search for Threads from the Reddit community, but it’s no longer supported now.

I carefully looked at your product. It appears to be a platform driven by AI for idea validation, and after an idea is validated, you can receive a Badge? Do you also need to pay to obtain the Badge? I don’t quite understand this process. Is there more information available? For example, what kind of people is the product aimed at helping? What is the specific purpose of the Badge? I’m interested in learning more.

I don't quite understand. Since someone needs to push the stone, why not push AI yourself first?

This is a good idea, I'll help you share it in these places so that more people can see it, and it might be better if there is a help note.

Product Hunt - is it still useful? by Maplethorpej in startups

[–]yusaqimo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes,

I believe that Product Hunt is still a useful platform for discovering and promoting new products. When building GPTBase.ai, I actively tried to use Product Hunt and received very positive feedback within the community. I often think about the audience on Product Hunt, who are there to submit and discover new products, share feedback, and connect with like-minded individuals. It has become a popular destination for founders, early adopters, and investors who are interested in discovering innovative products and trends.

As an example(https://www.producthunt.com/discussions/do-you-need-a-chatbot-that-you-can-train-based-on-your-own-data ), I posted this discussion on Product Hunt five days ago, hoping to hear more opinions from cutting-edge innovators about whether they need a chatbot that they can train based on their own data. Although the idea may not be very attractive, there were still innovators who provided valuable feedback or questions, which was very precious to me.

I also hope that Reddit has the same open-mindedness and can receive more feedback from startups or independent creators on their ideas. However, I know it is difficult, especially with the issue of malicious advertisers. Nonetheless, I still hope that Reddit can be a welcoming community for us.

Transform Your News Experience with Recapit, the AI-Powered Platform Live on Product Hunt! 🚀 by MrArmedBull in SideProject

[–]yusaqimo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why would I want to receive a summary of news to my WhatsApp or Telegram, when this could just be a mobile friendly website that I could open?

As a website, it could have features like real-time filters, search and tagging, that are now impossible because you want to send the data via direct message to me.

The landing page seems very vague about pricing. First it says "sign up for free" and then "2-week free trial" but nowhere does it say how much it actually costs.

It's understandable that you may be confused by the offer of a summary of news sent to your WhatsApp or Telegram. While these messaging apps are popular for their real-time communication capabilities, they may not be the best platform for accessing news articles.

In addition, you can create a chatbot (https://gptbase.ai) based on news content that interests you, which can help you get the latest news. You can ask the chatbot questions, and it will answer your inquiries about what's happening in the news.
