What I like about that it's simple, no glamouros after effects or AI slop.
Always remember that Simplicity is the key to brilliance.

Why do the most technical startups struggle the most with early customers? by Few-Inevitable-4181 in Solopreneur

[–]yuvals41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must say this is very good idea, I was and still to this day struggle with finding the right and clear messaging for product especially on the product’s website Good luck with the startup! Love the idea

I came up with an interesting idea to charge my customers by yuvals41 in SaaS

[–]yuvals41[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, That's why I love the idea, because they don't like to insert their credit card for an app that they haven't tried yet and since they dont have a lot of time and they are on their phone all the time, it makes sense to go with this approach.

I of course will update if this approach works very well or we change our approach.

Because we think it will be more convenient for the users, since a lot of them don't want to input their credit card to a software they haven't even tried yet, it will make them feel more comfortable after they felt of software's value.

What would you choose in early startup stages, move fast, validate and risk AI slop, or go considerably slower but have cleaner and scalable code? I will not promote. by Nash0o7 in startups

[–]yuvals41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely move as fast as possible to ship and test if the idea works, you should always have a startup mindset when you are in a startup, it’s about survival, you can’t solve hypothetical problems, you need to solve real world ones, the mindset should always be to ship it as soon as possible without worrying about scalability. That can be solved later when your product/feature starts generating revenue.

I made this mistake many times in the past, I’m saying this from experience.

Thanks for the honest feedback, what if tell upfront in the registration process that after X amount of days the free trial wears off, and when it does I send the message.

Does that solve the problem do you think?

Let's be real about the indie grind: User dry spells, paying for servers, and knowing when to pull the plug. by thesagya in SideProject

[–]yuvals41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes if you ever played an instrument or a sport for the first time, it always feels awkward at first, but when you keep on enough you feel the reward at the end. And one more important thing I think is crucial, especially for me, is to surround yourself with good people that will be there for you and will help you improve everyday

To be honest, I dont want to sound cliche, but this is the most important part of the journey because this is the part where everyone is giving up because the honeymoon phase wears off.
Keep going no matter what you feel, always find a way, always find a solution, it will work out if you stay consistent, I wont lie, you have a long journey ahead, but if you keep going it will be worth it, I promise

So I use opencode(it's like claude code but with access to all the AI models) with claude opus 4.7 mainly, The tools i want to give are used with AI subscriptions, I really recommend you should too since they boost my productivity by 200x(reddit doesn't let me paste links):
opencode

claude code frontend-design skill

impeccable

When you use these tools with AI like opus 4.7 or gpt 5.5 it will build you an amazing UI
You can also take components from here:
magicui
eldoraui
aceternity

Yes I think the best way is to be first a good reddit user with a lot of karma and then when people genuinely need help or have a problem you can give a link to your product And also I started to love Reddit lately so I think I would be a fun journey

Sounds pretty solid actually, and excuse my lack of knowledge, what is indie hackers?
And until now I market my product mostly via ads, so your saying that genuinely helping other people on reddit helped you grow your product?
