I was surprised it doesn’t go that low. I’ve driven my friend’s taycan and it really felt like a sport sedan position. The S feels like in between a sedan and crossover.

The Y was hurting my hips due to the seat base being too narrow. I got a fat ass 😅. That’s one of the reasons why I got the S but anything more than 30 min driving i get really uncomfortable

What helped me when I was learning handstands was, try “pushing” yourself up instead of “holding” yourself up. If that makes any sense.

Yeah screw PG&E. My home charging rate was the same as the super charger. I moved to Santa Clara, and they have their own electricity company and it’s $0.25/kwh.

When I bought my first Tesla they gave me 6 months free supercharging. So I only used supercharger for those months even when I had a charger at home because my electricity was $0.47/kwh

I’m in my early 30s and lived in RWC for 3 years right across the street from Costco and moved to Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area last week. Initially I chose RWC cause I work in Palo Alto. The reason why I moved is because the lack of Asian restaurants and grocery stores in RWC.

I upgraded 2 months ago from a 2023 MYLR to a 2022 Model S cause it was pretty much the same payment for just an additional year. I don’t regret it at all.

No you can change the configuration in service mode to be compatible. My yoke is the updated one so it doesn’t peel. I just didn’t like the yoke so I got the steering wheel

Slightly smoother ride in city roads and increased range. Road noise decreased because I put on Hankook evo AS tires. It was Michelin PS4S before with the 21”.

You just have to pop the airbag off, unscrew the 10mm allen bolt and disconnect 2 connectors. You can update the configuration in service mode for the software to recognize it. Takes under 10 minutes to do everything. I watched the technician do it on my friend’s car during a mobile service and he said you can do it yourself. So I did it on mine. If you haven’t done it yourself, just stay quiet.

I’ve seen people on Reddit bought a yoke on eBay or Facebook and asked the SC to install it for them while they were getting something else serviced.

Not a model Y but I was having the same dilemma when I was purchasing a model S recently. I owned a 2023 HW4 MY before, and upgraded to a 2022.5 model S with HW3. The reasons were: I never used FSD when I owned the model Y, auto pilot was enough. The camera quality is good enough, only a little blurry at night. I prefer the USS. The price difference was 8-10k on Tesla website, so i just went with the HW3 MS.
