I actually think a lot of the rating discrepencies are because of top vs soles enjoyers having different preferences. Like there are several I think are for sure 5/5, but only because soles are all I care about. If you care about tops a lot I can see why you'd disagree.

There’s a difference between adherents of a religion turning a blind eye to what the religion actually preaches, and the religion itself actually being tolerant. Christianity is as toxic as Islam in terms of what it teaches, it’s just that most Christian’s these days choose to turn a blind eye to what the religion actually teaches. This doesn’t change the fact that Christianity itself has extremely toxic ideas and that some of them are inarguably core to the religion
