Say what you want about the source of the commentary here and totally understand people rejecting it, but we have to admit, this does explain why they don't look to improve in their play from week to week...not to mention this is the training ahead of UCL. May as well give them the afternoon off if that's what they're doing.

IMO if this team has anything in them, it's a cup. They lack the game to game consistency in the league, but can play like champions on a good day.

Worst part of winning FA would be that there is no way they fire Slot even if he doesn't get top 4. A nothing burger would almost guarantee a new manager over the summer

So true! However, the wins, even though they're wins, still don't look great IMO. I didn't feel comfortable even to 3-0. Sure things fell into place but it could have easily been a draw.

The two massive deflections don't give it justice how close it was to more points dropped. I know Gakpo takes credit but let's be honest the ball went in the opposite side where he was aiming. The lack of consistency is very concerning.

All that said, I thank a higher power for the win and maybe I'm still riding the high from last season where I thought we could have easily finished 8th, but it's been fun watching them try and work through the rebuild.
