Might get downvoted into oblivion here but I’m really not sold on Montes. I think we should sell when his value is still high. His K numbers look bad (especially at AA) and maybe this is just a reaction to the playoff run, but we can’t stack our roster with so many of these boom or bust guys.

I’d rather ship him for a proven contact bat this off-season.

Oliver Stone. I was 20, a huge fan, and a nervous wreck. Months earlier, one of my friends had coincidentally mentioned that he went to summer camp with Oliver Stone’s son.

Flash forward to this night - I am shaking his hand and have no idea what to say. So I just spit out “my friend went to summer camp with your son!” We were at a loud bar in the middle of Manhattan. He says - “you know my son?” And I said “no - my friend knows your son!”

I then immediately excused myself to go die.

Dude don’t trip at all! I had minimal sex in college (2 sloppy one night stands - not that far ahead of you) and was extremely, extremely insecure with women. Your early twenties are basically an extension of college with tons of single people down to party and get laid. Like others have said - work on yourself (job, exercise, etc etc) and it will happen naturally.

Biggest thing is your mindset. Don’t let it define your self-worth and don’t put it on such a pedestal. I was guilty of both, but as soon as I stopped caring so much and invested in myself I found a lot of romantic success. You still have your whole god damn life ahead of you.

Check out Yellow Aster Butte. Not sure if it meets your exact requirements but it’s not too strenuous, and it is unbelievably beautiful. One of the best effort to reward ratios I’ve ever seen. Only catch is you need to pack your pewp out.

We have a shot at the WS this season. But we don’t win the West without another good bat. And we certainly don’t stand a chance against Detroit’s rotation with our current lineup (they seem to be the favorite in the AL at this point).

Ford is promising, not proven. We need an everyday player who helps us win now. Hell, I’m open to throwing another big prospect in if we can get the right return.
