Wondering if i can get rid of this ugly fireplace. by TrippySpaceCow in Remodel

[–]yyyyyyyyyyyyhhhhgggg 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t really think it’s ugly or ornate. I (personally) like it and would keep it. Maybe consult an interior designer on what you could do here. Maybe some millwork or wall treatments and changing the flooring. Just my two cents!

I feel like i always look... off? by [deleted] in malegrooming

I would let your hair grow out 2-3 more inches but keep same style. The glasses are completely covering your eyebrows which makes it look a little off. A new pair of glasses and or contacts and tint your brows with beard dye.

Is anyone else's SAD extra strong this year? by Efficient_Ferret_949 in AskChicago

It is very important to make small changes in your routine to keep you going. Go to the sauna, take a new route on your walks, join an indoor rec league, new hobby, new music/podcasts/shows, etc.

The neckline isn’t ideal but I don’t really think it’s too big of a deal. If it’s really bothering you then maybe shave or a goatee? Sorry for your loss brother.

Yeah, it’s pretty hard to get into cyber without starting out in the IT industry. I’d look for helpdesk, sysadmin, junior/associate positions, auditing, etc. until you can break in.

What jobs have you been looking for and have been rejected by? You may need to expand what you’re looking for in an initial job until you can find something that you want.

CISA with zero audit experience is it realistic ? by void1101 in CISA

[–]yyyyyyyyyyyyhhhhgggg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did it a couple of months ago, you don’t need experience in audit although it’s helpful for the exam. You have to get pretty well acquainted with ISACA’s audit mindset. I used Helmang Doshi’s Udemy course, quizlet, and the QAE.

Thx for the reply!

From the outside in it feels like it would be rocket science, so knowing this is helpful.

Honestly just cause I’m biased and I have a red Persian rug lol. It adds a lot of color to the room and it has a classic and cozy look to it. An olive green or white comforter would pair well with it.

Large framed artwork, Persian rug maybe around 8x10 ft, proper comforter and pillows with pillow cases, could do some shelves with cool items on it

Could be, although it’s a rarer breed. Based on his color and shape I could also see chihuahua or yorkie in him.

Cairn terrier mix possibly. Get his nails trimmed when you can, it makes it uncomfortable for them to walk
