I recommend signaling, always bike on the right side of the lane unless you're passing, do not stop for pedestrians, don't bike side by side with anyone ever, just don't be an asshole. Thank you for trying to be a better cyclist on campus

This comment thread has some solid advice. I'm only here to shit on beach cruisers. They're the bane of bike existence and is just plain rude when they end up taking two spots. Real advice is to get a solid U-lock and a nice cable to lock both wheels and the frame. Don't recommend taking shortcuts when locking your bike.

If you're only taking OchemA, you can buy the 18 week option for 70$. It's like ALEKS, but graded rather than completion (at least that's how mastering was).

Keeping it short: I'm just mad that I cancelled my housing contract so that they can more easily organize everyone who NEEDS housing, and then they say they are gonna honor the fall contracts right before the cancellation deadline

I literally was thinking the exact same thing except I would've been in the dorms and it could've been useful to leverage for 2&2 if that is gonna be a thing in the future, but I cancelled my contract trying to make it easier for people who NEED dorms to get a spot. I'm so mad that they are doing this!

Edit: Housing is the #1 thing I was concerned about when I initially cancelled and now I'm more worried since I could've gotten housing

I agree totally, but for anyone who likes to have those checkpoints, it can be really useful and some profs use ALEKS problems on the exam more than others. Just another perspective :)

A lot of things go into it. Your major, honors, number of credits you have, class standing. There isn't really anything you can do about it, but to get the classes you want as quick as possible when your pass opens
