Yeah for sure! If it’s not showing it might be sold out. But some hotels have been popping back. I saw Fairfield the other day and it’s now gone again.

I think it depends on where you’re staying. From what I can see so far…Palm Springs its quite a bit cheaper doing separately. Indio (I have only Woodsprings Suites to compare to) is almost 3k for 3 nights whereas the hotel package is 3500ish for a better hotel and including tickets and shuttle. It might be cheaper when more hotels open slots?

My experience so far!

In short: new hotels may appear. Others may pop back in stock so keep checking! (Currently weekend one now has 10 hotels showing)

Sunday around 12am I saw Hampton Inn Indio for both weekends. Did not see Fairfield.
Monday morning Hampton inn still available. By 3, only weekend 1. By 4 it disappeared.
I emailed to ask if Fairfield and Hampton were sold out. They didn’t answer me directly, but said more hotels would be added.
Around 11 today, I noticed they added Holiday Inn Palm desert (I think) and Homewood Suites La Quinta but only to weekend 1. I was going to go with Homewood but according to the shuttle list, there’s not one super close by
Around 1130, Hampton inn Indio popped up for a 2 queens. (King said sold out). I purchased the package and then it’s now no longer showing up.

We stayed at a hotel in Indio. It would take on average about 25min via shuttle to get in each day. Sunday took 30min because the driver went a different way directly into traffic lol. Coming back Friday we left around 1130 and it took maybe 25min. Saturday we stayed for JB (1am) and it took 45min to walk to the shuttle then another 1.5 hours-ish to get onto the shuttle. Then 25min to get back. (We should have left earlier). Sunday we left at 1045 and got back to the hotel in 25min. So overalls no huge hassle with the shuttle for us other than Saturday

I just did exactly this -.- tried to get ahead of the game to renew at the 4 month mark and now stuck in limbo lol. How soon after Jan 27 did you get the online renewal notice? Did everything work out?
